Ratings for Dr. James P. Johnston
His staff was not very nice. Doctor did not seem very knowledgeable about my condition. He did not seem to believe me when I told him how hard it was for me to get around. I wanted to see an endocrinologist about another condition I have. He said that he could see me for that and that my condition did not warrant a specialist. I suffer from headaches also. He gave me Tramadol for the headaches. He knew the other medication I take from another doctor, Zoloft. I recently found out that you should not take Tramadol while taking Zoloft, according to the Nurse's reference guide! I had asked for home health care, just a few hours a week, due to my debilitating condition. He said, my condition doesn't usually warrant home health care. However, I know many others with my condition that do have home health care, okayed by their doctors. He lacks empathy. Just because he claims to be a Christian doesn't make him a great doc.
