Ratings for Dr. Michael S. Vactor
PLEASE PLEASE! Do yourself a favor and DO NOT even go to the consultation!! This place is terrible! I asked for all of the information prior to signing anything and they would not provide any written documentation on how the program works, in fact they laughed at me after asking twice. They tell you that this is not a rigorous diet, but it is!! 500 calories a day and they tell you you will not be hungry, but you are!! I asked after the first day about being hungry and THEN they tell me it'll be about a week before I stop being hungry. I was jittery and nauseous at work. The doctor only spends 10 minutes with you and asks you nothing about your personal lifestyle and your daily habits. He hardly listens to what you say because he keeps talking over you. They claim this is an individualized plan, but is it not. It's just the same for everyone. PLEASE do not waste your time. I am SO mad that I signed myself up for this. When I called to get my money back they said they spent about 2 hours with me which is wrong. They said we can ask all of the questions we want, but when I did the answer I receive is that it's all "in the book, read your packets" no, I am ASKING for a particular reason. This is very, very deceptive and they will not let you see any of the information on what this diet actually entails. You use a certain kind of toothpaste, you're limited to only 5 kind of fruits, you can't use any lotion or body wash that doesn't follow their guidelines. I mean it's just ridiculous. They are pushy sales people and all you are is another number. I have never been so disappointed in my life. They rush you in and out and couldn't care less about you. Please save your money and time.
Over the years, my weight steadily increased. I tried many different approaches to weight loss and non of them worked. These included the commercial programs, exercise/diet, shakes etc. I decided that I needed to do something and heard about Vactor and team and the program on the radio. So, I began this program on October 8th, at 63, I was able to lose 55 pounds. I have found that I have more energy and that it also helped with some other health issues including High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol and Acne. I have found that I have more energy. I have been following a regular diet since March 13th and have continued to maintain the weight loss within a 3-4lb window. I ate treats over the Holiday's and went out of the 3-4 lb window but was able to recover that within a couple of weeks. The diet is rigorous, but extremely effective. The main thing that one needs to do is follow the protocol as outlined and results will be realized. One of the main components of the program is to eat more wholesome foods and less foods with empty nutritional value. The diet helps one retrain your metabolism and to eat healthy regular foods that are found in the grocery store. I would highly recommend this program to everyone. It has helped me to realize my long term goal of weigh tloss and control and has led to a more healthy lifestyle for me. - Frank
Dr. Vactor is friendly and helped me lose about 65 pounds. His office is right outside of the main shopping centers in cranberry. There is a parking lot in front of the office with maybe 15 slots and 2 handicap spots. His staff greets you at the door and keeps you in the waiting room until your appointment time. Over all, the cost was worth it to me and I paid with a visa. Not sure if he takes other forms of cards but I am sure the office would know.
So happy I visited Dr. Vactor. Lost 25 pounds in time for my sons wedding and it made taking pictures with him one of the best times of my life. I know that without Dr. Vactor I would have been self conscious the whole time and instead it was a blast.
Total scam. Went about 3 years ago. Prey on vulnerability. Spent less then 10 minutes for private consultation. No true explanation of how supplements work. After got my money, they didn't answer questions. Aren't supportive and don't check on you. Spent over $1300 to be put on 500 calorie a day diet and told to drink their special water that was properly pH balanced.
Still disappointed in myself for doing this. When the won't tell you what is in the product you are taking and they change the formula multiple times- that should be a hint to stay away. Pay a ton of money up from and then get no support at all. I did lose weight but who wouldn't when you only eat 500 calories a day but I gained it all back and then some. Wish I could get my money back.
