For a few years he handed out oxycodone prescriptions like they were candy and 95 percent of the patients he gave them to were addicts (myself included). Then he finally got caught and there was a civil lawsuit filed against him

I was very happy with the amount of time I had to wait in the waiting room, it had to have been only 30-45 minutes which I think is pretty normal for most offices. I felt very comfortable talking with Dr. Womack I felt like he took the time to listen to the issues that I had come to address and was thorough and helpful throughout the entire visit.

Dr. Womack is the best physician to which I have ever been. I am no longer in NY, but if I ever go back, I will definitely be seeing him again. He is the most knowledge doctor I have ever spoken with, takes time to answer questions and provides further insight towards the topic of discussion. I miss having a doctor whom enjoys speaking with his patients, which may make the wait to see him a bit longer than expected but is worth the time!

I had been seeing Dr Womack for over 8 years and can tell you that this ;person now is not the same when he started. He is rude and does not follow through. The amount of unneeded tests are an atrocity. It seems they are only to line his pocket which brings me to another subject I will address later. The staff is wonderful but work in fear as you can see, of his dictator attitude, .He dosen't listen to you and dosen't seem to care and this is after waiting 2-3 hrs every 2 weeks [yup he made me come in every 15 days for my medication. I could never get any results to any of the many tests I had.He constantly was either trying to figure out how to use his computer or would [when I finally made it into the exam room] gets called out or would answer his pager, he simply dosent care. If you asked him a question and didn't agree with his answer he became enraged. on my last visit he as rude, refused to give me a prescription that I have been using for over 8 years. He has had great PA's only for them to quit within the 2 weeks between my many many unneeded appts. He has fired more people in the last year and on my last visit the usual amount of people were about 10,there were only 2. He had fired everyone but his nurse [who is a doll and is afraid of him] and another girl at the window who is new and will fast be gone I can see already. as for his care, it is so bad he dosent remember what you came in for and for a year I have begged him to help me with my leg cramps [more tests ,no answer]. He likes to taunt the motto preventative medicine but it seems that you would need to look at the results of the test before you can "prevent" something , .seems to me its just a way to milk the insurance .As another patient pointed out he does let you go if you either 1], disagree with him and 2] have the nerve to complain about waiting 3 hrs every time you go.[ our time is just important as his] He is a hot mess and should not be practicing in my eyes since following through to see what is wrong with someone is so important in treating them I asked about the results of my bloodwork and in a second he told her to tell me it was ok. I then asked about another test and he said that was fine to,interesting since I did not have that test! He never took the time to look it up..My advice to Dr Mr. Womack is to find a good psychiatrist on here. You can also find him on zocdoc [yes he on there to,go take a gander and leave how you feel there to, to warn others before they enter this waste of time practice.. Its a shame once upon a time long ago when he first started he did care but that person is long gone. my advice is to keep looking and stay away

He seems like a nice, smart, respected man... But doctor? Crooked... I've been a patient of his for 3 years and I notice a lot of shade going down in that office... He receives cash tips for god sakes! No wonder he goes on vacation 3 times a year .. I've also heard other patients arguing with him and then their drug tests mysteriously coming up positive for things they've never ever done. Also there's this company he sends the urine to for them to do the analysis but I'm pretty sure he only sends one for ever 20 urines and keeps the money that's designated for that... He's also the type of doctor that will boost your script up one month and take it completely away the next.. Heard tang from MANY patients however I think he may have a sufficient reason for that ? Who knows.. But the ABSOLUTE worst thing about it is the WAITING if you make a 1 pm appoint be prepared to not be done until about 430 at the least.. You will be in the waiting room for at LEAST 2.5-3 hrs and then once you FINALLY get called into the office it will take him at least 30-60 minutes to come in the room and see you!!! Crazy... Also even though the staff is very nice they seem completely unorganized except for the main Spanish lady that is usually sitting in the front .. And that GIna Marie( she usually takes pulse weight etc) seems like a TOTAL crackhead! But one thing that's not true about what people say about the state of the office.. People online say it's dirty but I find it to be very clean even the bathrooms. Over all dr wommack- decent man.. Bad doctor!
