Honestly I cannot understand any of the negative comments I read through , they just do not make sense when compared with my experiences with Dr Gracer and his staff. Before being referred to Dr Gracer the quality of my life was so poor if not for my deep love of my family it would have been too hard each day with not very much happiness. Due to HIS honesty and commitment to my health I was able to massively improve my quality of life and without needing to take over 20 pills a day !!!! which I absolutely hated. Dr Gracer custom fit a pain management system for me that maybe doesn't 100% get rid of it all is way better. Not only did he save my quality of life but a young man who is like a son , soon as I talked with Dr Gracer about a major issue with him he got this young man in the next day !!! I truly credit Dr Gracer for my quality of life and the actual life of my 4th son. If your truly looking for help GO SEE DR GRCAER it may save your life to/

Wow, what a unprofessional and dysfunctional office. The staff was nice but you can feel the tension. I feel that it's due to the doctor's wife, she is rude and very arrogant. I believe her name was Jackie but not certain she is unstable for sure. I would highly recommend finding another prolozone therapy. Dr R. Gracer is consumed in his own thoughts. I believe that he only thinks of the money and not the patient. I seen how his wife spoke to a patient on the phone, wow what a witch (no joke). Run if you can and save your money. They lie to you and you end up paying more. I have never seen a Dr. work like this. Not worth going.I have worked in a Dr.'s office for 3 years with 15 physicians and this is not right. Dr. R. Gracer should not be a physician. If you want to go see somebody for Prorolozone therapy, Dr Robert Rowen in Santa Rosa is a good doctor. He is genuine and will help you with your problem. Dr. Gracer will only put a bandaid on it for you. Don't make the same mistake.

Instead of reducing meds and setting goal to get off them; they continued to have me come every month... for years saying "I needed it them." Totally Wrong. Whose pocket? Where was the focus and care? Many times, no vitals even taken. Too much personal chatter behind counter is uncomfortable for those in pain and having to wait and wait ....

Used this doc when I moved to Northern California because he was on my plan for a GP. In a word...run...away as fast as you can. He is eccentric, preoccupied with himself and doesn't pay good attention. His office manager is a real biscuit. If you don't have addiction problems, or if you are not independently wealthy to afford his exotic Prolotherapy, then find another doctor. He actually scares me with him incompetence.

Dr. Richard Gracer has changed over the past 7 years. He did help me immensely successfully treating my newly diag. Fibromyalgia. When I wanted to try other medicines, each time very kind and willing to help. I think that when he decided to help those addicted and they became his new focus. His current patients, not suffering with addiction problems, became a number. He has always been a doc that is of the school of MY WAY or Highway. His assistant is SO worried about getting "chewed out", it's sad. I am actively seeking new doctors. It is such a shame that this doctor who really seemed to be quite respectable, seems to be reaching time to retire or do something. Such a shame.

This doctor only wants to recommend experimental, expensive treatments that aren't covered by insurance. Prescribes many non-generic drugs, typically after marketing calls from drug companies. Overcharged by billing service. Typically switches appointments to hard of hearing assistant who makes up chart notes as she goes along. Dismissive of patient comments - wants to change you to more expensive treatment, even if your treatment effective. Overcharged by both billing service and office staff. Refusal to reverse obvious overcharges, e.g. treatments never received.

After your one hour wait to get in to see him, he seems wonderful...for 15 minutes. He then suddenly leaves the room and leaves you hanging. Seldom helpul although he seems to mean well. Needs to stop treating his patients like assembly line parts

Dr. Richard is very knowledgable and helpful, genuinely interested in his patients. I had problems with the IV staff, none of them could really find a vein very well.

Gracer thinks everyone is an addict, and acts like a pompous jerk when you prove him wrong. Very conceited and forgetful. I used to dread everytime I had to see him. You never know how things are going to go when you see him. He doesen't understand patient confidentiality, and doesen't mind insulting you in front of his staff. Find another Doc. Someone you know will make you feel taken care of!
