Ratings for Dr. James A. Ameika
Dr. Ameika, my Dad, Bruce Ferguson, WWII Marine, died 12 years ago today. My family and I are eternally grateful for the loving care you and your staff gave to him; and the kindness and compassion you gave us. You have our most sincere respect and admiration. May our Lord continue to bless you in His calling for your life. Sincerely, Barry E. Ferguson
I can understand why he is #1 in this area, he operated on my husband for cancer and the heart on a sister-in-law's mother. He and his nurse are one of kind, they are there for the patient and the patient's family. They keep all involved well informed of all they are going to do and/or did during surgery. All is treated with kindness and respect, and neither one EVER talks down to a person. They are the greatest!
Dr. Ameika is one of the best doctors this area has ever had. He was wonderful with my late husband (who didn't trust doctors). He trusted Dr. Ameika and allowed him free rein with his treatment. My husband had lung cancer and was in the 4th stage when we were sent to Dr. Ameika. He and his nurse was always there for my husband. We need more doctors with a real HEART.
