Be prepaired to wait and ready to fight. He is very oppionated and does niot listen to what the pt or family is trying to say. He actually kept falling asleep during my husbands first visit. Claims to be a board cert MD but was tatally unaware of may of the eval tolls we brought with us which are standard Rehab use items. And if you have pain and diabetes go somewhere else as he will blame it all on the diabetes and not even explore other avenues unless you press the issue. We only went to him because the insurance insisted and plan to get a second opinion. We have 4 MD's (one of which is a diabetic specialist) insisting my husbands pain is neuromuscular and yet he has not even hinted at the approp test and just keeps saying it is Diabetes. My hint is to stay away, stay far away from this MD if you want to get better!

Bring a book for the waiting room, as he's always running late. It's worth the wait, though. He takes time to explain and discuss any concerns without any rush at all.
