Ratings for Dr. Patrick M. Foye
Dr. Foye is amazing! !!!! I don't know what I would have done without him! I saw dozens of doctors and specialists in Canada for excruciating tailbone pain and none if them could help, they just kept saying there was nothing wrong and prescribing pain meds. I did some research and found Dr.Foye so my husband and I decided to fly to NJ to see him and within 5 minutes I finally had a diagnosis of 2 dislocations and a fractured sacrum and he did injections the same day to try to treat the pain. It helped but we returned 2 months later because the pain returned and he did more treatments but my injury was so severe I ended up having surgery in the end and I am doing much better now. My surgeon was Dr. Joshua Rover and he was also amazing, you can check out the review I left for him as well. Nobody seems to understand how severe the pain can really be from a tailbone. I gave birth naturally 3 times and I would do that again before going thru this pain. Other doctors need to get educated and start taking it more seriously because it is debilitating. I am still not 100%, don't know if I will ever be but I am able to function now and be a wife and mother again so I am grateful for that. I empathise with everyone else out there still suffering and encourage you to see Dr. Foye. Best of luck.
Best medical care that I have gotten in a long time. Only once before in my life have a I met a doctor who was this thoughtful, warm, caring and really spent the time that my case needed. Top 1% of doctors, hands down. I wish he wsa closer to home but it was worth traveling and I would defintely go back if my pain returns
Don't waste your time!!!!!!!! From the beginning, his staff has been difficult to work with. Dr. Foye is busy , not because he is a good Dr but because he is in front of Google pages. He and his staff are terrible. Just getting them to answer the phone is a nightmare. Once I was finally in the door, I watch a video that tells me I have hope and also tells me surgery is not the answer. I get the injections , only to find out 2 days later that my pain was back. The injections did nothung though Dr Foye assumed me it will decrease. After months later, he orders an MRI. His staff was rude, nasty, disorganized. They took months to get my mri approved. Once approved, they had chosen an mri center that didn't exist and leaving me lost. I was so frustrated at this point, I got aggregated aND his staff hung up the phone on me!@! When I emailed Dr Foye, he didn't seem to care. I let him know how rude and I'm competent his staff was but nothing. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a Dr. I expressed how much pain I was feeling abd how I felt helpless, but they didn't care. There are plenty of other doctors that specialize on tailbone. I fell for his reviews and I wasted do much time. I found a new doctor whose staff is amazing! Don't waste your time!! Sent me a message if you'd like moreal information.
Orthopedic doctors in my hometown failed to take my chronic and worsening tailbone pain seriously --- one telling me to "just live with it", and another telling me "not much could be done" without even ordering an x-ray to determine the problem. Many internet searches later, I stumbled upon Dr. Foye's website and ordered his book. The book validated my complaints and gave me a solution ---- go see Dr. Foye. I flew in from out of state on a Sunday, saw Dr. Foye Monday morning, and flew back home Monday afternoon PAIN FREE for the first time in almost a year. Four months later the steroid injection and nerve block are still working and have made a huge difference in the quality of my day to day life. Dr. Foye is a gift to anyone with tailbone pain. Both personally and professionally he is very caring --- exactly the way I wish all doctors were. Dr. Foye really listens, understands and explains everything thoroughly so that you understand too. After reviewing my x-ray results, he showed me exactly what was causing my pain and recommended the shot and nerve block that have worked so well. If the pain ever returns, I will definitely fly back to New Jersey for another treatment ---he is that good.
Dr. Foye is not only a great Doctor but one who listens and is empathetic about the pain you are suffering. In my case that is chronic Coccyx (tailbone) pain. In my humble opinion his knowledge of finding the cause of your pain put's him at the top of his field. That same knowledge in turn also applies to the various ways he has of helping to rid you of that pain. I let myself suffer to the point of my coccyx pain running my life until I called Dr. Foye. If anyone has this problem don't hesitate any longer to make an appointment. His insight to coccyx pain at lest in my experience in searching for a solution is the very best.
It's been 4 weeks since I received an injection and I am pain free!!! After 2 years of pain, I finally found Dr Foye. He is a Wizard!! He is incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate. If you are experiencing tail bone pain, run, don't walk, to see him!
I am very happy to have found Dr. Foye. It was worth traveling to NJ to see him. So thankful to know someone understands coccydynia and offers help. His compassion was so evident, he truly cares and wants to help those of us who have searched and searched for answers.
Dr. Foye is really one of a kind. I have had a tailbone issue for over 15 years, and had been told over and over again by doctors all over the country that there was nothing to do about the problem, other than sit on a donut cushion. I was fortunate to find Dr. Foye on the internet, and I highly recommend him. It really is worth traveling the distance to see him if you don't live in the New Jersey area. He is an expert on tailbone pain/coccydinia, which in itself is a unique asset since so few doctors understand the condition, but what makes Dr. Foye an outstanding doctor, more than anything, is the thoroughness of his evaluation and his willingness to listen to his patients to really understand what is going on. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for help with their coccyx pain.
