I have been a patient of Dr. Longest's for 16 years. I live near Wisconsin and travel to see here. She is absolutely the best. The entire group is busy and very good. That is why appointments are booked out 3-4 months , pretty typical for specialty trained doctors who are very good. However, whenever I have had eye emergencies, I'm always seen promptly. We were recommended to come to this office a year ago. I called last January to book a follow up appt. I got an appointment for my daughter last May but the office called a few days before the appointment schedule and said that I have to reschedule it since the dr is on vacation. REALLY? Then, they can't book me in a few weeks...they said the opening is on August...this month. Went to the office today but the appointment was a disappointment...from the wait, and wait and wait and finally when the dr came to see us, I was asking her a question about my kids's rx grade. She said "I don't know,I turned off the computer already." UNBELIEVABLE. the only great staff we met there is Andrew. He was fast doing his work, consistent,professional and knows what he is doing(Snellen's chart, Ishihara vision test, plus the eye drops).

I've had enough with the practice here. Took 5 to 6 mos to book for an appointment for my daughter. Now appt time 2:10. Arrived 15 min early, lots of patients in waiting area. Told my daughter to take a seat while I checked in. As soon as I did sit with her while updating forms, the staff that talked to me to fill up forms came with disinfectant spray and gloved hands and told us to kindly vacate our seats since she needs to disinfect it from previous "infected" patients that sat there! That we need to go to the washroom and wash our hands! This could've been avoided before we sat or any other new patients that would have sat there! My daughter was given some tests by staff by 2:30. Waited for eyes dilated. Led to dr longest's exam rm by 3:20, seen by dr by 3:40!!! Won't go to this dr ever again!

Dr. Longest had been seeing our son who is now 7 years of since 9 month old. We stayed with her because of her reputation. Things that have been annoying me about that office I have ignored for years but today I had enough. She's a great doctor but if it takes 4-5 month to book an appointment and then you have to wait another 3 hours (with appointment) until you finally get to see the doctor just because she books patients back to back to make more money... No thanks. We changed doctors and I'm just as happy and now have actually a realistic time frame.

Very knowledgeable and great with my kids. Punctual. Highly recommend doctor and optical shop.

I brought my 2-yr-old for an 8:50 AM appointment. She wasn't there yet, and her staff did not know why, but said it happens often. The waiting room was full when she finally walked in the door at 9:30 AM. We were supposed to be the first appointment, and weren't seen until 10:40 AM. She is a knowledgeable and likable woman, but has a serious problem getting to work on time.
