It's very, very scary that this man is practicing medicine. I went into the office (Urgent Care of Metairie) feeling terrible, and suspecting I had the flu. He told me it could not be the flu, because I had a cough. Well, google it: a cough is a well-known symptom of the flu. Instead of doing a simple nasal swab to test for flu, he placed me on an antibiotic. I wasn't any better after 2 or 3 more days, so I went to a different doctor, who knew what he was doing. He did the nasal swab and guess what? I had the flu. Antibiotics don't work for that, but antivirals given in the first day or two do! I did a little research and have since learned that Dr. Correa has some sanctions against him and is only provisionally licensed in Louisiana. Stay far away from him and Urgent Care of Metairie. The place is dirty and the staff is rude, anyway.
