I am almost 40 years old and i have no cavities in my mouth, thanks to DR. Russell. He taught me how to take care of my teeth at a young age, and that i thank him for.

He put a silver filling in my front tooth, this tooth is not suppose to have silver because it is a front tooth. I had other opinions since seeing Russell, and they were shocked to see such negligent care coming from someone calling themself a "Professor" and working at a world renounced school, Tufts Dental University! He is a shame to dentistry and to the school in general. It seems the one good review above has not had work done by him and is just trying to redeem him, because of the negative status he is receiving. I even talked to a student and their instructor, and they also were alarmed to think that he did not know any better than to ruin my tooth using silver on a front tooth. Shame on you Dr. Russell, my heart goes out to all who were harmed by you! Maybe you should try another line of work instead of dentistry.

I can not understand for the life of me, how a dentist who has harmed so many patients can still be in practice! David Russell, in my opinion, does not deserve to have the status or the use of the word doctor in front of his name. There are at the least, five people who have been harmed by Russell. Complaints have been filed against him with the board and he is still in practice. People have suffered greatly, and the board has done nothing, but sweep the complaints under the rug, allowing Russell to continue his bad dentistry on other unknowing subjects. This is a sad day when, people who feel, by filing a complaint with the board, they will be heard and the board would take the appropriate steps to get this bozo out of the business of harming patients. Instead, their complaint are ignored, and even worse, as I mentioned before, he continues to be allowed to harm even more patients. Is this what the public deserves when the pay good money for equally good dentistry? Proof, money talks!

Dr. Russell is a wonderful dentist. I have been going to him for the last 15 years and have only good things to say about him. He has taken good care of me and my dental health. He has many dentists as is patients; that's a GREAT recommendation because dentists know best. I recommend Dr. Russell.

Dr. Russell is one of the kindest, most generous, and intelligent dentists a person could ever ask for. I have worked WITH him (NOT for him mind you, he DOES NOT pay my paycheck) for about 4&1/2 years now. I have worked with many dozens of dentists in my years as a hygienist and I have never met anyone who gives away more free dentistry, particularly to people in need. He is on the board of registration in dentistry and holds a master's degree in public health and works dilligently to protect the public from dentists who perform poor and/or unnecessary treatment. If ever there was a dentist who is absolutlely above reproach it would be Dr. David Russell. The person who has written these previous reviews (and I believe it to be one person, based on the style of the writing) clearly has an agenda that does not involve trying to help other people.

Dr. Russell ruined my teeth, left me worse off than I was originally. Later told me this was not his "line of expertise". Did not refund me. wanted to refer me out to another dentist to fix his mistakes. I reported him to the board, in which he join. He has had at least 4 other known complaints to the board, all were thrown out, because his licenses says he has never had a complaint, and thats a lie! He also sits on the complaint desk at Tuft's Univ. Dental School, so if you try to complain about him, you have to talk to him. He has all bases covered. Anyone with complaint about this dentist I am interested in hearing what happened in your case. As I mentioned, I am aware of at least 4 others whom have been injured by this dentist.
