Ratings for Dr. Dario A. Grisales
Dr. Grisales is half the doctor he once was. I am pleased that some have experienced what they consider to be excellent results. One highly impressed reviewer was pleased with his “highly accurate diagnosis.” Only another physician could verify if Dr. Grisales diagnosis is accurate. I discounted the review immediately upon finding out that the patient was unhappy and ready to leave... until Grisales’ staff was replaced by “adorable girls” and a medical assistant. Wha-What? That “babes” made the previously disgruntled patient see Grisales in a new light is too revealing. Is that the measure of a great doctor? Would you take your child to a doctor, one which you, as a parent had lost confidence? What if said doctor added “adorable girls” and a medical assistant? I would hope you set your standards higher. If not, I encourage Dr. Grisales to give away calendars with images of his scantily clad staff! He’ll be Doctor of the Year! I had complained about errors made by his previous staff, and the good doctor chastised me for bringing to light my easily provable facts. He said he trusted them implicitly. What happened to that trust, Doc? On the same subject, I do not trust the medical assistant. I am willing to wager that he knows a fraction of what I know about my condition (I don’t gamble unless I know I’ll win). I know Dr. Grisales would chastise me for expressing my discomfort, as he did with the staff that is no longer there! Ah! What a blindfold is ego! One with whom I cannot effectively communicate is of no value to me, and my treatment. I honestly like Dr. Grisales, the person; hell, I’d invite him to my wedding! As far as his capacity as a doctor. I would no longer recommend him. He has followed in the tracks of subpar doctors more interested in money, than quality of life. His office is apparently subleased to another doctor who writes prescriptions for marijuana, and what a coincidence! There’s a dispensary a few doors down. I’ve had three unique and highly qualified doctors validate my diagnosis, and, yes, Dr. Grisales was one of them. He is capable, but has grown weak-kneed and paranoid; scared that state and federal agencies are en route with black helicopters. I firmly believe that he stays up nights waiting for the men in black with AR-15s who he is sure are “coming to take him away.” I am concerned with this developing paranoia and this preoccupation is affecting his professional abilities. I am a highly educated person, and have learned to take nothing at face value. Immediately after telling me that on my next appointment that he would be decreasing the two medications I have been taking consistently, under full compliance, for five years — and without an increase in quantity, or strength. This decrease, by 25% and 100% respectively, is not based on any diagnosis or compliance issues, but supposed “new rules” by the CDC. (I’ve had no updated diagnoses, but intend to by another doctor) He had to know that following my visit, I would contact the Director of Pharmacy, and the individual insurance specialist from the company which provides similar, nearly identical medical insurance to Florida lawmakers. This individual handles cases precisely like mine and insurance manager, said that my diagnoses puts me in a category of exclusion and that the doctor misinterprets such information that does not apply to patients with my diagnoses “raises red flags.” The insurance company assigned me an active case number. He gave me other, confidential implications that would ensure compliance; if not for me; than for others. I took the hint, and though it is an option, I stood up for Dr. Grisales, telling them I believe that he was competent at the time which he was one of three unique doctors who through what appeared to be due diligence, came up with identical diagnoses. When I called my pharmacist/advocate she had already been contacted by my insurance company. I was told that he better get his facts straight, or it was recommended I find another, better informed doctor. Like I said. I like Dr. Grisales. I appreciate that he obliged me when I asked that he no longer prescribe me a third “breakthrough medication.” I told him that 1,000 mg of acetaminophen and 800 mg of ibuprofen every four hours, in conjunction with my base medications worked better than my base medications in conjunction with the particular “breakthrough medication” which is all but ineffective when taken orally during the unimaginable and massive pain flareups associated with my condition. Hell, even Walgreens pharmacists fill my prescriptions based only on a call to his office!
I have been a patient for many years and doctor Grisales has been the only doctor that has examined me and found and explained what was happening with my pain. He spends a very reasonable time with me, he is very accurate in his diagnosis and his procedures have always help me ease the pain. His current staff is very nice and friendly. Yes, I was about to leave the practice when the staff changed and doctor Grisales had a hard time finding the right personnel , but the girls and his medical assistants are adorable. The waiting time has also greatly improved.
I love DR. Grisales and his practice. Everyone in the office is very friendly and helpful, they go the extra to get information for you. I strongly recommend Dr. Grisales, not only is knowledgable, compassionate and listened to what my concerns were, his office staff is just the same. Love the entire staff!!!
I have been a patient of DR.Grisales even before he opened his practiceand was with barsa. Then he went to sable. Ive seen him grow his practice, this was my favorite place to go until recently when his whole staff left iam not sure why this happend according to the new girl she has nothing good to say about them but I find it odd when the whole staff leaves including one of his sisters who was never nice to me even left. I came to my follow up and found a disaster my appointment was 11 got out almost closing time its really bad. The people he has now are not like the old staff caring and helpful now you cant even get someone on the phone. I need a procedure and still have not been scheduled.Doctor is very smart and knows what he studied but I think he should reconsider owning his own practice because his practice is not the same anymore my husband wants me to find a new physician and honestly I think its time too move on. I need a caring office who wants to help me. Not the people he has now not the practice pan American is now. I need a doctor who will call me back if there is a problem after a procedure. Dont expect him nor his staff to call you back on any matter pan american pain is not the same place and maybe 6 years ago I would have recommended it but not now iam glad to not have to drive so fare for this mess.
Up until recently this office was amazing, I miss his old staff. This new staff is stuck up and unfriendly. Not to mention, the wait time is horrendous. I guess the wait time as well as the friendly caring staff went out the window. Oh and good luck with getting through to them on the phone I hope it's not urgent because you can't get anyone. Time to find a new physician.
I Have visiting panamerican pain institute several times for a couple years and I am very Happy with the results treatment an therapis. Dr. Grisales and his staff are very professionals. for me, Panamerican pain Institute is the best health care place I ever met!!
I have been through alot of pain doctors in the last ten years he is the only one I would ever recommend. His staff is outstanding and very caring. His bedside manner is the best. He listens and understands those of us who truly suffer. Not a pill mill. No big waiting room full of drug dealers only real patients. I love this doctor.
Dr. Grisales and his Staff is always courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. My sister is deaf and was in so much pain, that she could not be touched. Dr Grisales worked with her and with in about three or four months she was up walking and smiling again. We are so happy and appreciative for his expertise and genuine concern. Thank you Dr Grisales and Staff
Have been a patient over 8 years. Have had to wait to be seen only a few times. He is very knowledgeable and has positive, relaxing bedside manner. Explained numerous problems in great detail. He understands pain management well. Answers questions unrelated to medical care. Is quite approachable to different treatment modalities. Highly recommend him. Gives out useful information without being asked.
Dr. Grisales AND his staff are courteous, helpful and give above-average time and attention to my husband and myself. We drive an hour to see him because he is worth it! I was so reluctant to see this type of doctor for my chronic condition after being with another doctor for 11 years. I couldn't see how I could start over and feel that same level of care and personalization, but after my initial consultation with him, I immediately felt like all my concerns were addressed and fears put aside. He took all the time needed to understand (not just listen) my unique situation. He made me feel like I wish I'd seen him sooner! I feel like I'm in very capable hands and highly recommend him. :)
