When I told Dr. Sharma that I felt like everythng he was giving me was only making me worse. He took it as an insult and yelled at me calling me pathetic. Sad thing is my counselor was in there and did nothing. I ran out. They did no follow up. I had a suicide attempt 2 days later (many over the years before that). Went cold turkey off meds for 2 yrs. Had to go back to see a psych doc and turns out that the anti-depressants made me suicidal. Haven't taken any since that day and not one attempt. Struggle miserably with depression, but no attempts because I have a good pdoc now that won't give me anti-depressants. He took it as an insult and yelled at me calling me pathetic. You don't call someone struggling with major depression pathetic if you're a psychiatrist!!!! Sad thing is my counselor was in there also because she didn't know how more to help me either and she did nothing. I ran out crying to never return. They did no follow up. I had a suicide attempt 2 days later(many over the years before that). I could have died due to his arrogance, lack of care and knowledge in this field. I went cold turkey off my pmeds for 2 yrs. I said I would never trust this field ever again and tried to stay away. Had to go back to see a psych doc due to major depression and turns out that the anti-depressants made me suicidal. Haven't taken one since that day and not one attempt either. Struggle miserably with depression, but no attempts because I have a good pdoc now that won't give me anti-depressants! That is why they are black labeled now!

Dr Sharma is by far the worst Dr I have ever been to. I had recently been discharged from the hospital into Dr Sharma's care and on the second appointment we had a personal disagreement that has nothing to do with my healthcare/reason for appointment and on my 2nd appointment he tells me he will no longer be my Dr. Thanks for abandoning me right out of the hospital and trying to charge me for it real classy. This Dr did not care about me at all and just wants his money and like everyone else said he loves to hear himself talk. If you try to get a word in and tell him whats going on he looks shocked and offended like you are being very rude for talking. How is this guy even a Dr?

Dr. Sharma is probably the most unprofessional Psychiatrist I have ever seen. His wait times are commonly over 2 hours, which is not an exaggeration. His office staff is disorganized and don't even have the courtesy to let you know you'll be waiting. You just have to sit their wondering if somehow you confused your appointment time. Once you get in to see him, don't expect that you'll be doing much talking. The reason his appointments are late is because he'll spend the entire time listening to himself talk, running over the clock. Since he doesn't listen to you, don't expect him to have any clue in treating you.

He was a great doctor and I had no trouble making an appointment with him. His place was alittle hard to find but other than that he was helpful, and very respectful.

Dr. Sharma is a good natured, knowledgable doctor. He is fairly easy to talk with and I have definitely improved under his care.

I had to cancel my appointment today, because of a scheduled training that I was unaware of. His office rep, identifed that there was cancellation fee of $ 75.00 which is not mentioned anywhere. He said it was on the business card, which I never got and hanged somewhere in the office. I just made an appointment on Monday, and recieved confirmation yesterday. Do they not get, we have to work to pay them? What a joke??

There are no psych docotors where I live so I drove 3 hours into town for my 11am appointment w/ Dr Sharma. When I arrived they told me that they mistakenly double booked him and that he was in a "conference" and that he could absolutely see me at 4pm. I waited for 4.5 hours and called back at 3:30 to make sure we were still on for 4 and was told that he was still in "conference" but he could see me tomorrow. I explained again that I drove in from out of town and was not available tomorrow. They had no way to compensate me for the 11 hours wasted (3 hour drive each way and 5 hour wait between 11 and 4).

I think they want to lose business. Very unhelpful staff. The staff is the worst by far. The doctor is just okay. I think he needs stay up to date with the medical field however. He is living 20 years behind and his knowledge is limited. Wait times are HORRIBLE. I'm currently seeking a new doctor. Fees are sketchy, if unreasonable. I don't have insurance at the moment so $100 a visit is ridiculous.
