You're in the best hands if you want breasts augmented. Look no further; Dr Pugash is the best. His advice is warranted and his work is impeccable.
I'm so very satisfied with my lift and implant. Many women I know are also very satisfied with his work. He's precise and he knows breasts. I highly Recommend.
I had an abdominoplasty, breast lift/augmentation, and liposuction in July. Although I had heard of Dr. Pugash through a friend who also had a breast augmentation done by him, it was the reviews on here, as well as his list of credentials that persuaded me to book with him. I could not possibly be more pleased with my ENTIRE experience. To start, Dr. Pugash's staff are so kind and accommodating. Simone in particular is just so pleasant to deal with and is very sweet. I have read a few random reviews where people have said some strange things about the reception staff and have actually laughed out loud about them... It makes me wonder what those reviewers are like in person.
Dr. Pugash immediately struck me as very thorough, and very realistic as well. His professionalism was a relief because I had never dealt with a plastic surgeon before and, for some reason, was prepared to deal with a "car salesman" type of personality (someone willing to tell you whatever you want to hear just to make the sale). But it was the opposite - he is very clear about what you can hope to expect, what your risks may be, etc. I went into my surgery feeling incredibly informed.
I am well into my recovery at this point and have people asking me all the time about who my surgeon is because they cannot believe my amazing results. I was just in yesterday for a post-op appointment and had to take a stack of business cards when I left to hand out!
I could go on and on with positive things to say, but I won't - basically, if you want professional work, go to Dr. Pugash.
If you need someone to coddle you and make warm and fuzzy promises, you could go somewhere else and find one of the aforementioned car salesman types... I think that's a personality thing on each patient's preference. But just remember that you aren't interviewing someone to be your new best friend... you're wanting someone to perform surgery on you!!
This review isn't going to be entirely complete, because I am very early in my post op recovery.
This review is highlighting my experience thus far with choosing to go with Dr. Pugash & staff.
Consultation: I've read mixed reviews on people's first meeting with him some saying he was very patient and heartwarming and others saying he came across cold and dismissive. My experience falls in the latter. Now he is known to be the best plastic surgeon especially when it comes to boob jobs in the city.
I can overlook the attitude because his work speaks for itself. My consultation basically went like this, he told me what I was getting. The type of incision, implant & where it is placed and profile. And I do trust him as he made good points why he decided this route was best to take, I'm not going to question him as he is the surgeon. But I just felt that he did not even bother to hear my concerns or my opinion. My consultation was maybe 15 minutes and that alone costs $100 (the $100 goes towards the surgery fee is you decide to continue with him, also non refundable). The entire appointment was rushed and he made me feel like he had no time to hear what I had to say.
Next was my pre-op appointment. I initially thought I may have misjudged him and he could have been having a bad day during our first meeting. My pre-op went a little bit better than the consultation. Tried on the sizers and chose my size. I asked him if going bigger carries more risk and he dismissed me with a don't worry about that. Don't worry? Im paying a lot for this surgery and it's a pretty big deal doing under the knife. I know he sees tons of women walk in and out the door but its no excuse to be so arrogant. He reacted as if I was being so offensive. Note: There are reviews out there stating this too. Dr. Pugash doesn't really touch on risks or complications which I can see why, but I think if the client is asking about it, then I think a doctor should explain and talk about it with them, thoroughly.
Moving on to the day of surgery. At the clinic the nurse had me change into the hospital gown and wait for Dr. Pugash and anesthesiologist for some assessing. Dr. Pugash did his markings and he asked me a few questions and told me what to expect. As he was explaining things to me, he says "you do remember me telling you this before?" and to be honest I didn't know what he was talking about (I guess he forgot how he never fully explained what to expect and the fact that we talked for maybe a total of 30 minutes tops to date) so i said no and he responds with such a condescending answer.
1 week later had my first post op appointment. Had my stitches removed and he showed me some massages I can start doing. This was a brief in and out appointment.
It has been a little over a month post op. And I have to say I am not impressed with my experience at all. As for results the first few days were rough but I feel a lot better. Again, it's too early for me to review the surgery results as I still have a lot of dropping and fluffing to go through.
I am actually surprised by all the reviews saying the receptionists are nice. I had a few concerns post op and called the office and all I got was oh its fine, just a shrug it off kind of response absolutely no care as if I was wasting their time. When I had to come in and pay off my surgery cost I walk in (mind you I called earlier that day telling Simone that I was coming) and Simone asks are you __? she totally called me the wrong name. Didn't know who I was. Yes I know they deal with tons of women but it's upsetting, and it makes you feel of less value and care to them
In a few months I am going to see if I can go to someone else for my post op care. I honestly wouldn't recommend him. But again like I said before, he is a skilled surgeon, but the experience was far from pleasant.
I had a BA done by Dr. Pugash 5 months ago and I am really happy that I had the procedure done by him. He is a true artist at what he does. Dr. Pugash is very knowledgeable, straight forward and thorough and telling his patients what and how to prep for pre and what to expect for post. I would be happy to recommend him to anybody who is seeking or thinking about getting a BA. I am so much more confident with my curves.
7 days post op (tummy tuck) with flanks liposuctioned. Pain and surgery procedure both far less traumatic than anticipate. Pain very controllable and moved to regular Tylenol 2 days following surgery.bandagees and drains will be removed in 1 day. Facility also impeccably clean and very comfortable with no sense of urgency to get you out. Have nit and will not measure or weigh myself for at least 6 weeks (self imposed decision) after reading many post op patients posts. Am looking forward to swelling subsiding in the coming weeks. Really glad I spent almost 1 year on a core fitness plan to strengthen my body esp the back and legs.
I chose Dr. Eric Pugash based on BA results from both friends and a family member. He was extremely professional and I felt comfortable right from the beginning. He addressed all the questions and concerns I had written down before I even asked them. I couldn't be any happier with the results. I wanted natural looking results and since I'm a runner, I also wanted a functional size. Dr. Pugash exceeded all of my wants and expectations. I went from a 36A to a 34D. My results look both natural and are practical, not hindering my active lifestyle in any way. I would strongly recommend Dr. Pugash and his work to anyone that is considering getting a BA. You will not be disappointed with his work and your results.
Dr. Pugash is a wonderful surgeon. I've had my breast augmentation done about a month ago now and it's been a smooth recovery. I am quite satisfied with the look of my results. I went in to get my breast redone after 9 years of not being happy with the ones I had before. I had saline breast implants and changed them into silicone. The saline ones didn't settle the way it should and was a lot higher than I would prefer. I went to Dr. Pugash with my concerns and he listen and delivered amazing results. Even right after the surgery I can see the different! Thank you Dr. Pugash.
Dr Eric Pugash is the best doctor I have ever seen, regardless of specialty. He is warm, caring and knowledgable. He looks out for your interests and wants you to be happy above all. I went from a B cup to a DD cup 5 weeks ago. They look and feel natural. I would highly reccommend Dr Pugash for any cosmetic surgery.
