While I have no doubt that he is very, very knowledgable, sometimes he has a patient "wait" too long to see if something may happen naturally before he finally agrees to other methods. I have such severe pain in my knee and he has told me that I need a knee replacement but he keeps putting it off, because "knee replacemennts are only good for ten or fifteen years, so wait as long as you can before we do the replacement. I am 68 years old and stay at home most of the time because I can't stand the pain if I go anywhere. If I have the surgery now, I'll be much better until age 78 or 83. By then, I will be more than ready to stay home anyway. I totally trust Dr. Eaton to do the surgery but I think he is too cautious sometimes. Ihave had quite a few visits wth him about this and I'm seriously considering getting another opinion
