Bring a Family member or Friend with you! She thinks being a Doctor means you can take a day (or week/month) off whenever you want and you don't ever have to call your patients to tell them you won't be there for the appointment. She has given my mother the wrong prescription or old prescriptions multiple times. Also, she could possibly killing people by not referring all of her patients to specialists when she is asked to. I googled her name because my mother has been waiting over 3 years to see multiple specialists and we have not received even 1 phone call from any specialist. We are at the point that we need to get another doctor because we think she is not sending the referrals to the specialists. After reading the complaint right before mine I also had to complain. She is possibly killing people by not referring them to specialists when they need them. I would give a ZERO START if I could. She is not taking care of my Mother at all. She is not there when my mother makes an appointment which screws everything up because she takes the Disability Bus to her appointments and when the Dr. is not there she ends up going without medication for days. I decided that I need to go with her to make sure things are being done right. While we were waiting in the room I heard her tell one of her patients that their pain must be in their head. When she finally came in the room it was just ridiculous. She was very rude and clearly has NO EMPATHY towards her cripple patients.. We will not be seeing her anymore in the future. If you do see her bring a friend or a relative every time! Also record your whole appointment. It is seriously so bad that you will need to for your own safety.

I finally changed Doctors. Waited 2 years for a referral, called the clinic the other day and no referral to a spinal surgeon was ever done. tried to get into review results of bone scan ,as well as, stress test and ultrasound of heart. Doctor is never there. always on holidays. she use to be good and followed up on concerns. she now does not care. had all important info transferred to a new doctor

Waited over two hours to get into my scheduled appointment with her which was merely a “pre-physical” appointment. I had been fasting to get bloodwork done and had checked with reception multiple times to see if I could get in. I even asked if I could go to a dynacare to get the bloodwork done but they said no, he doctor had to indicate what she wanted ordered first. Finally I let them know I was going to leave as I needed to eat and they got me into the lab to get the bloodwork which apparently they could have done all along (they messed up). Finally getting into see the doctor she let me know I didn’t need to fast to do the bloodwork and she didn’t see any reason I should get a physical done (it’s been 5 years since a physical or PAP and I’m 26). Complete waste of my time and I will be changing doctors

Terrible bedside manner. Would not recommend going to this doctor with any serious health concerns as this was honestly the worst bedside manner from any doctor I've ever received.

The best! She may make you wait a bit but she is worth it. Trustworthy, knowledgeable & good natured.

I had to wait over 2 hours just to check my blood work that only took 30 minutes and the receptionist had attitude with me

I waited TWO hours for an appointment that I had previously booked, when I got there the receptionists were talking to each about different mistakes they made and things they couldn't find, it was crazy I was standing there and nobody was helping me! Everyone in the waiting room waited that long. they were their before me and still hadn't seen a doctor. Once in the waiting room I waited for about 45 mins and she just waked in and said hello like nothing was wrong like I hadn't been waiting for forever! She dismisses my concerns, like it didn't matter what I thought was going on with my body. A different time I saw her she assumed she was giving me a pap, even though my mother was in the room. I was just there for a refill lol

I have called 14x in 3 days to get an appointment and no one answers the phone. So then you proceed to go down there and stand in line forever. Wait two hours to see dr Chappell who is in a mood and continues to wak out to the room as your telling her what the issue is. She has been my dr for 15 years and need to retire. The bedside manner is horendus!

Once again she has changed clinics and her poor staff are left to deal with it. Appointment after appointment was rescheduled due to her absence. Her new clinic didn't bother to tell me there would be a fee for the chart transfer yet had me fill out a form that is useless as the old clinic is the one that needs it for their records. I over heard patients blasting front reception staff when all they were doing was their job. I decided to just stay at the clinic and see a different Doctor. My concerns are finally being addressed and the staff really do a great job of getting me in and out efficiently. Don't expect your referrals to be followed through on with Dr. Chapple - I waited over 6 months and now I've already heard from the specialist due to a simple call from the different Doctor. Don't follow her if you don't need to. She clearly doesn't care about family medicine anymore.
