I went to see Dr. Chris Thompson today and was taken aback by the special care taken at every level of the Capital Otolaryngology experience. Cassie was unbelievably attentive and friendly when working through the admission process. She made a phone call on my behalf on how I might save money during the referral process. When I met with Dr. Thompson, I was stunned by the professionalism and kindness he exuded. He listened, he answered questions without haste and I sensed his approach is that of never having an obstacle that cannot be overcome. This is the team you want on your side. --Fritz Reinig

Dr. Thompson is very good with children and has seen all three of my children for ear issues and since then, we have not had any issues.

Dr. Thompson has taken excellent care of my son's chronic ear problems - surgery and all. His staff is very friendly and effecient. My one complaint is the hours that Dr. Thompson is available for appointments - only a few days a week 7:45 - 12:00. Students shouldn't always have to miss class, especially for check-ups appointments made far in advance. We will probably have to find another doctor as a result.

Biography

My interest in medicine started when I was very young. When I started medical school, I didn’t even know what an ENT was. But I had a couple of friends whose fathers were ENTs and I learned from them. I like the autonomy of making my own diagnosis, then treating the patient as I see fit. I like the variety of seeing different kinds of people and different problems every day. Our specialty isn’t just about surgery it is about caring and compassion. I like interacting with people. I have a true desire to help people and provide them with meaningful solutions for their ENT problems. I like being able to give so many patients instant gratification. Its why I put my heart into treating my patients. When I started medical school,
