Dr. Karia is great. He spends time with patients and is very knowledgeable. I always ask for him when I go to the Heritage clinic. The staff at the clinic are also very friendly which I find unusual for a walk in clinic

Attended the heritage hill medicentre clinic on a Thursday evening at 6pm requesting to see this doctor, unfortunately he was not working , I asked the receptionist called Eden who worked in the evening if I could have a word with him or see another doctor. She told me the walk in doctor is running an hour late and no one was in the waiting room, and it was told to return the next day. This is dangerous as I actually had a medical emergency and I had to go to ER instead. He could give his receptionists a bit more training

Dr. Karia saved my life, not once--but twice. I love this man and wish I could have brought him with me when I moved to B.C.!

I truly am happy that I have found Dr. Karia. Very few doctors would send a person for a prostate cancer test because they had a bladder infection. Dr. Karia did that with me and because of that, I got caught early and managed to get the least invasive treatment. Also, he is not a fan of prescribing drugs. He is quite unassuming, but a great guy when you get to know him. Like I said, I was lucky to have met him, and the medicenter where he works at have always been professional and friendly with me.

Like the fact the guy is not driven by seeing as many patients as possible. He took his time and helped me and genuinely cared about my well being. Noticed he was having an issue with a drug addict as he refused to renew their prescriptions. The addict threw a fit and he calmly handled the situation. Prescription drug addicts are a huge problem now.

Dr. Karia was fairly rude and quite dismissive. After showing him what prescriptions I was on (absolutely nothing narcotic related) he would not offer to refill any medications and simply told me "I'm pretty messed up" and to "get help" .. Thank you? Big waste of time

Dr. Karia was terrible. I had painful breathing and told him that i did not have a sore throat or cough numerous times and at the end of the appointment, he said take buckleys for the cough and tested me for strep throat... even though i didn't have any symptoms. he does not listen and was rude. And he would not give me a massage prescription even though i have chrinic back pain and was in a car accident a year ago. he also ran out of the exam room annoyed that we wanted a massage note. I suggest you request a different doctor other than Karia when visiting the medi-center.
