Ratings for Dr. Narendra Karia
Dr. Karia was extremely rude, dismissive and late. Not only did he not ask about my medical history he stated that he was not a doctor that would prescribe pills. None of my medical complaints were likely to be treated with pills and the appointment was simply a meet and greet for a family doctor. After waiting over an hour to see him with an appointment I determined based off his professionalism I would need to find another doctor.
Such a wonderful man!! He TRULY cares about each and every one of the patients he sees. Yes, sometimes it takes a while to see him. But it is WORTH it. He is doing his job and being thorough with patients, not just brushing them off! So the next time you get upset that it's taking a long time, just think that it could be YOU that he's seeing and is taking his time with because he cares about the proper care and treatment for each person. LOVELY doctor, LOVELY staff. Definitely recommend him!
ive been seeing dr. karia for years. hes a great doctor. im so happy he came back retirement. yes theres a long wait for him. but it is well worth it. he was very thorough with me and was able to get me into a surgery that ive been trying to have for years. fantastic doctor. also the nurses and receptionist are friendly and helpful. ive had poor experiences at some medicentres but never at heritage
Attended the heritage hill medicentre clinic on a Thursday evening at 6pm requesting to see this doctor, unfortunately he was not working , I asked the receptionist called Eden who worked in the evening if I could have a word with him or see another doctor. She told me the walk in doctor is running an hour late and no one was in the waiting room, and it was told to return the next day. This is dangerous as I actually had a medical emergency and I had to go to ER instead. He could give his receptionists a bit more training
I truly am happy that I have found Dr. Karia. Very few doctors would send a person for a prostate cancer test because they had a bladder infection. Dr. Karia did that with me and because of that, I got caught early and managed to get the least invasive treatment. Also, he is not a fan of prescribing drugs. He is quite unassuming, but a great guy when you get to know him. Like I said, I was lucky to have met him, and the medicenter where he works at have always been professional and friendly with me.
Like the fact the guy is not driven by seeing as many patients as possible. He took his time and helped me and genuinely cared about my well being. Noticed he was having an issue with a drug addict as he refused to renew their prescriptions. The addict threw a fit and he calmly handled the situation. Prescription drug addicts are a huge problem now.
