Great doctor, kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. She took the time to answer my questions and I never felt rushed. Highly recommend her and her clinic!
She is arrogant and makes you feel unimportant doesn’t give the time to explain or discuss 3 iui’s failed with her
Excellent doctor. She took the time to speak with my husband and I, to review our file and to answer all our questions. After completing the tests she spoke with us again about our options. We never felt pressured, and she made us feel in control. Highly recommended!
She's definitely more smart, has more knowleges than Dr M. and show more empathy... We went to this fertility center for 1,5 years. I was healthy, just need a donor to help me getting pregnant. I tough that going at a fertility clinic would be safer for my health than use à known donor... We had 5 inseminations and 3 fiv... Got pregnant at the last FIV but lost the baby at 12 weeks. I began having health issues and decided to use my known donor... I wrote de Dr M and told him that I would wait for some months. He wrote me back and told me that the only way to get pregnant was to loose weigth... Guess whats? Got pregnant after 2 months and when our first child was 7 months we decided to have another one and got pregnant after 3 months and got baby number 2 17 months after the first one! In 1,5 year, we realised 2 times where they miserably failed!!! Facts talk by thershelf!
We are so happy we went to see Dr. Sophia. She was kind and supportive. She encouraged us not to give up, and because of that encouragement we are now expecting a baby girl! I would highly recommend her and her clinic.
My experience at this fertility clinic was one that I will never forget. Dr. Ouhilal is a very kind and compassionate doctor and is one whom I felt very comfortable with also. This was very important to me. She helps to make you feel at ease in any given situation. The staff at the clinic is also very nice and friendly as well as the nurses- Barbara and Bonnie - thank you! An amazing team - Dr Mahutte and Dr. Ouhilal! God bless.
Very closed minded and tries to push her agenda on you without taking your concerns in consideration. She made a serious mistake in my IVF cycle that led to no embryos because she did the egg collection too early and all the eggs were immature. She rushed me through the cycle so she could grab the money and finish my cycle before the clinic closes for 1 month at Xmas. They also close for 1 month in the summer. Who does this when you’re running a fertility clinic and have patients in different stages of cycling??? Obviously they cut corners. It’s a Mickey Mouse operation. I’ve been going there on and off for 8 years and unfortunately the quality of a care has deteriorated over the years. Especially since 2016 when government funding was cut, they started pushing cycles so they could benefit the most before the funding stopped. They still have some shady practices including billing for tests that should be covered by RAMQ and double billing the clients and RAMQ. Unacceptable! That’s why they don’t fire that rude receptionist Angie, because she knows all their secrets. Whenever I go or she’s talking shit about some coworker, or being nasty to clients or just generally bitching. Bonnie is nice, Barbara is very abrupt and not helpful. The wait times are well over 1-2 hours. My record was 2.5 hours waiting for a scan. I’m so done with them and their antics.
The doctor seems nice but there's little logic to her decisions about treatments. The Montreal Fertility Center offers an established bulk of tests regardless of the patient's needs and situations described by the patients. They give everyone the same (and incomplete) referrals already prepared and printed out, not personalized at all. But hey, everybody's health is different, and what if I need some other things tested? This is not what you call personalized approach. On top, they don't even do a normal basic gynecological exam when they see you for the first time. Then, at the very first and initial consultation, they offer you a standard treatment pattern that they offer to everybody else. And that, right off the bat, and regardless of the patient's situation. And this, without having seen your test results. What a great way of making $$$. It is unclear how such standardized treatment pattern can affect patients with different health issues and obviously different test results. However it is obvious how this contributes $$$ to the clinic's pockets. To top it off, the secretaries are extremely rude both in person and on the phone - why can't they hire someone else? And the waiting time is at least 40 min. Oh and yes, you will wait at least 1.5-2 months to get your follow up appointment. To remind you, this is a private clinic. I am very disappointed and I'm not going back there.
Elle est tout simplement adorable. Elle est douce, calme, empathique et prend le temps de répondre à toutes nos questions.
I am unclear asto all the negative comments however i have always felt taken care of by both dr ouhilal and mahutte and would ALWAYS highly recommend them
