My experience with Dr Stein and his team was worth the wait. I had cataract and laser surgery on each eye on July 16 and 18th and all I can say is the whole world is so much brighter now! I can see :). My eyes are complicated and my expectations were managed as I'm still wearing glasses for distance but I went from -15 in my right eye to -2 . What a difference. Also suffering from kerataconus in my left eye, I am now seeing so much better. And...I can read and work on my computer with no glasses at all! Dr Stein and his team are patient, caring and answered all my questions. Thank you - I'm very grateful that your care has been life changing for me .

Dr. Stein was referred to me after the entire family went to him for LASIK. I had been wearing glasses and contacts since I was 9 and Dr. Stein informed me that he had been performing these types of procedures for decades. I was a bit nervous, which I think is typical for many who question if it's going to be successful or not. Then I took my husband's car out for a spin around the block after 2 days and I came home in tears because I could see everything so well, I never thought I would be contact lens free. One week later, I did my 2nd post-op appointment and results came back BETTER than 20/20 vision - 20/15 just to be clear! I was open water swimming after 1 week and my teammates were saying that might sighting was better as well. Listen to everything Dr. Stein's office tells you to do. Follow the drop schedule and pre-op instructions religiously, it will make a world of a difference. When you visit the Bochner Eye Institute you will immediately recognize that the practice is a well-oiled machine. It's a true testament to Dr. Stein's perseverance in his ability to direct others while also perform at the highest level during a procedure. That takes many years to cultivate and I was so fortunate to get my appointment and see all this come together from start to finish. Dr Stein was absolutely amazing. He always made sure I was comfortable and assured me that my eyes would be okay, as I had been complaining about seeing halos after my ICL surgery. He went as far as providing his work cell phone number to ensure that I could personally contact him if I felt like I was not recovering well. He took the time to answer all my questions to ensure I was confident in the procedure and recovery. I went from having -7.5 vision to 20/20. It was such a drastic change, as I have been wearing glasses since I was 6. I cannot thank Dr. Stein enough for restoring my vision to 20/20. He is truly a saint and loves what he does. You will never find a more devoted doctor to care for your vision needs. I cannot find the words to express my gratitude to Dr. Stein and his team. I had my LASIK operation at the Bochner Eye Institute on February 29, 2024, with Dr. Raymond Stein as my surgeon. Choosing to undergo LASIK is a life-changing experience and I am glad I went through with it. I have only positive words to say about the staff. From my consultation to back and forth emails and conversations, the staff have been very kind and approachable, answering almost every question I had. Not only that, the staff were able to reschedule my operation appointment to a later timeslot in the day, as well as able to do post-op follow-ups with me when my optometrist was unable to. It was a pleasure to have met Dr. Stein as well. He tells you what is happening during the surgery so you know what to expect and takes his time with you. I never once felt uncomfortable during the entire procedure, rather reassured that all is going well. It is 3 weeks since my surgery and I can see clearly; better than my glasses as well. My recovery is going well and all I can say is that I am grateful for choosing Dr. Stein. It was a month-long wait but it was 100% worth it. I recommend anyone looking for laser eye surgery to do a consultation at the Bochner Eye Institute, and if eligible, have Dr. Stein as your surgeon.

I met Dr. Stein for the very first time in late 2023 for eye surgery. I found him to be a personable, knowledgeable, experienced, soft spoken and caring individual. He explained and answered all of my many questions and really put me at eased. My surgery on both eyes were painless and successful. Today, after five months, I am truly thankful and blessed to have had Dr. Stein as my surgeon as requested. My after care was superior to non and the staff was wonderful. My vision is as clear as when I was born, thanks to Dr. Stein. Overall, I had a wonderful experience.
