Ratings for Dr. Daniel Hakimi
Dr. Hakimi is one of the most caring doctors. I am a high risk pregnancy and he has been following me very closely. He has made sure that my health along with the babies health has typed stable the entire pregnancy. I highly recommend Dr. hakimi, Dr. Smith and Eve the midwife. They all go above and beyond
Stay away from this doctor, he will bill your insurance for procedures and office visits that never happened. He will make you follow up for unnecessary testing and your test results (even if they are normal). I was seen by Dr Hakimi one year ago, recently received a large outstanding bill. One charge was for a visit that never took place because the doctor had an emergency. Second, he charged me for my annual wellness visit, i have no copay for preventive care. Third, i was charged copay's that i had already paid and have receipts to prove payment. Each time i was seen by Dr Hakimi he always wanted to me follow up, i asked him to give me a call with the results of the exam - his exact words "if i was to call everyone back with results then i wouldn't have a business!!!! I work in the medical field and call patients back with normal results all the time. Copay's these day are not cheap and its very sad all this doctor is looking for is ways to get more money out of hard working people. Staff is also very rude and dismissive. Again, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR
Every time you call, they are in a big rush and put you on hold for a long period of time. I had an appointment scheduled and I waited 2 hours before they took me in. Apparently this happens all the time according those who were waiting with me in the waiting area. After my appointment, i waited a few days and still did not get a call back from anyone regarding my results. I then left two messages for them at the office and they still did not call me back!!!! This is the third time i’m now calling the clinical desk. The front desk girls like Stephanie are so quick to transfer me to the clinical desk where no one picks up the phone!! They claim they check the mailbox frequently and that’s a lie. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HORRIBLE STAFF!!!! WHAT A SHAME. Hakimi used to be such an amazing doctor and now he has an awful staff running the place. Time to find another OB. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THEY JUST DON’T CARE ANYMORE.
Dr. Hakimi and his knowledgeable staff helped me through my high risk pregnancy. Not only did they always answer any questions I asked; but if there was ever a concern or worry they tried to accommodate their schedule so I could be seen as soon as possible. Thank you so much to Dr. Hakimi and his wonderful staff! Without them my son wouldn't be here today!
Very happy especially Dr Lee from Dr Hakimis office and the way she handles patients and their GYN needs. However I wish someone would talk to the lady in the back with the dark hair /tall who always seems so rude when you approach her with an issue or a question . I am the most non confrontational person in the world who feels at ease with most of the people in the office but speaking to her is more stressful than helpful. She should not be answering any questions back there or speaking to anybody.
I have been going to this practice for the past six years and have always had a wonderful experience with Dr. Hakimi, and Eve Tuers, the nurse practitioner. They are the nicest and friendliest people one can ever meet. They always made me feel safe in their care. Dr. Hakimi delivered both of my babies. My daughter is now six years old and my son is two. They are happy and healthy children even though both of my pregnancies were considered high risk. Dr. Hakimi was able to manage my hypothyroidism, autoimmune disorder and gestational diabetes perfectly. He would always put me at ease and made me believe that everything will be fine whenever I started to have doubts. Dr. Hakimi and Eve would always listen closely to everything I was telling them and paid a lot of attention to details. I would never consider going anywhere else because Dr.Hakimi and his staff are exceptional.
I SAW DR HAKIMI FOR ONE VISIT ONLY! WHEN YOU MAKE AN APPT NO ONE TELLS YOU THAT YOU WONT SEE HIM. I feel like this office is very very greedy, and has you paying unnecessary copays. There is one receptionist that is good and her name is Dariya, and the one lady that draws blood (shes thin and has dark hair). No one else can answer any question, and PLEASE dont ever need to have a dr call you back because it wont happen, they will just have a receptionist that has no idea what shes talking about call you back. What ever you read about blood tests and results are true! I had tests done and was told everything was normal so on my way out I asked for copies, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT THE RESULTS WEREN'T IN YET!!!!!! so when I went back to get my results there was no paper in the copy machine, and no one was available to go get any. I was very very upset and decided never to return to this practice and I would never refer anyone I love or care about here!
Five years previously, I had carried my son Christopher to 37 weeks only to lose him to an unknown factor. No doctor could explain what went wrong, or why I had a placenta abruption in what seemed like a normal pregnancy. I did all the right things, yet the tragic situation ended with the loss of my son’s life. I entered Dr. Hakimi’s office with trepidation but hope that he would be the one to help me bring this new life forth. Dr. Hakimi, Dr. Lee-Agawa, and Eve Tuers all went above and beyond to research what happened with my first son, reassuring me all the way that he would do everything he could to make this situation come to fruition. During my pregnancy some of the same factors started repeating themselves. All of my fears of losing this baby too became almost crippling. Throughout this Dr. Hakimi was there for me and brought me tremendous reassurance that I was in good hands. Once we reached 33 weeks it became apparent that history was going to repeat itself, and Dr. H didn't hesitate to act. Fighting against what other doctors, who had not taken the time to truly know my case had to say, he chose to move forward with an emergency C-section. When all was said and done it was discovered that once again for no reason, my placenta had started separating. Had it not been for his quick action and total undivided attention to me and my son’s well-being, I may not have the healthy baby boy I have today. I owe him his life and will never forget his kind treatment in my time of crisis. His staff was wonderful, and I wonder when he actually rests. He was there for me day and night whenever I needed him. I can’t thank him enough and would recommend him to any family who is looking for the best care possible.
Dr. Hakimi has been my OBGYN for 10 years and I have the utmost confidence and trust in him especially for any procedures, surgeries. He is not only a wonderful person, but the BEST doctor, highly skilled, and makes you feel at ease. He listens and gets to know you and your medical history and provides a personal plan for you individually as a patient. Dr. Hakimi is warm and caring as is his staff.
I received the best care throughout my whole pregnancy. The doctors and midwife are very knowledgable and they take the time to answer all your questions. I'm so happy I had my baby with Dr Hakimi's group! Hopefully in the future there's another baby for them to deliver.
