Dr John Owens is an EXCELLANT surgeon/Dr he did surgery on my rotor cuff and my both knees got 2 complete knee replacements at the same time ( dont recommend ) only because the pain is SEVERE and a long recovery I read one other review about him wanting his money ALL OF IT!! Its not funny but that just happened to me I was having issues with my health ins they would tell me they were paying and they really werent anyway long story short a balance came up over $920!!! I almost passed out I know dr owens for almost 20 yrs trust him with my life and any body parts he fixes and listen ( to the other person reviewing about payment) He works very hard to make us feel better many times giving us our lives back to do things we love and he SHOULD be paid and shouldnt have to chase people down for payment trust me at first I was upset too because I went for a follow up and they wouldnt let me see him until I paid that balance in full wich I DID! Remember people Drs work very hard to earn their title and they DESERVE to be PAID!! I LOVE DR OWNES and have sent many clients to him and they also love him too I rate him very HIGH!! thx dr owens Your the BEST!!!

Dr. Owens was fine,...it's the office manager witch that I can't stand... I don't have healthcare as I pay out of pocket, so the other day I was there to see Dr Owens and this witch says out loud so that the whole office can hear, "He's gotta pay $500.00 NOW" The office visit wasn't even close to $500.00... and what if I didn't have $500.00,... (in cash or on my credit card),.. she would have denied me service? Then as I was scheduling for an MRI they told me it would be $500.00,... ok, I asked if I could give them $250.00 up front and the balance when I come to do the MRI,... the guy asked the WITCH and she said "NO, it has to be paid in full"...

John Owens passes himself off as a spine specialist. HE IS NOT!!! He also care nothing for his patients. he shows up for spinal surgeries and does nothing other than watch the neuro surgeon do the work!

I see another doctor at this office for a different issue who is knowledgeable and helpful. Imagine my surprise when I was referred to this doctor who spent 1 minute with me and then charged for a "long" office visit. He was not helpful and is probably one of the worst doctors I've seen without truly examining the patient.

The office staff isn't the best. The are rude and not bright. Dr. Owens is a wonderful surgeon. I had shoulder and knee surgery and both were 100% successful. I was left with minimal scaring. He is big on conversation but do want a fine surgeon of a baby sitter?

When I met this doctor, it seemed like he didn't want to be there. Appointments and blood works were not set up properly resulting in delays. I'm in the process of looking for another doctor. This is coming from a registered nurse

An orthopedist to stand across the room seems odd to me, even after I was describing the pain in my leg.

His office staff has a callous disregard for your pain. A week after being examined for back pain the prescription medication ran out and I called to ask them to contact the pharmacy to renew it which they refused to do. My next appointment wasn't supposed to be for two more weeks. They wanted me to call back the next day as the doctor was in surgery that day. When I told them that it meant I would be in pain for 24 hours unless I went to an emergency room they still didn't care. They never offered to have another member of the practice help or for Doctor Owens to call when he was done with surgery. At this practice they seem to think it is ok for patients to suffer unnecessarily instaed of having a doctor pick up a phone. Do yourself a favor and find a doctor and staff that actually cares.
