Ratings for Dr. Julian Ambrus
I refuse to rate my physician ater entering the payment method use. What a shame or US health care. I want to give Dr. Julian Ambrus a ************** rating. He is the smartest physician a patient would ever encounter. He is also VERY compassionate to his patients.
i agree with the one writer (patient) about dr. ambrus's staff, they are the rudest people i have ever met. When you call there they are either rude, or don't ever return your calls. I now deal with the doctor, by email, because his staff is so rude.
Dr. Ambrus is the best doctor. He is great at diagnosing people with rare/difficult to identify conditions. He makes himself available to his patients and explains things clearly and thoroughly. However, his staff can be rude and unhelpful due to his high demand and busy schedule. Although he isn't a neurologist, he seems to know more than they do about both metabolic and neurological disease. I do highly recommend him for anyone with a difficult diagnosis.....just be willing to deal with his rude head nurse at BGH's rheumatology clinic.
The secretaries and nursing are the rudest people ever! After dealing with them, you have to wait at least an hour to see a student and then another hour for the dr to come in and say hi. they want you to come back every month and nothing chnages from month to month as far as treatment. Its all a waiting game. He did diagnose me with Mitochondrial Disease but i feel that anyone that sees him will be diagnosed with it. Also after your diagnosed, your follow ups are pointless because he doesnt give you much information.
Dr Ambrus is an excellent doctor and has been extrememly helpful to me with lups, arthristis and, due to excessive fatigue, diagnosed mytochondrial disease. I'm told by the blood work techs that he is one of the only dotors they know that is so thorough and helpful. Dr. Ambrus has been extremely dedicated to my care and is a wonderful physician.
Wonderful doctor and he has a knack for figuring something out that has many people stumped. And when he can't, he knows the best specialists in the area. Takes plenty of time to explain things and he speaks in a manner that a normal person can understand.
