Ratings for Dr. Robert Fisch
I was waiting for 3 hrs. when i ask why it took another 1/2 hr and the give me a room and i was waiting again and cancel my appoitment i have to pick up my little girl from school what a wait of time they told me he was so sweet and i said im sure he is but its over 3 hrs of waiting i dont understand why they can keep up with the appoitments
Dr. Fisch gave me a new right hip in 2000 and a new left hip in 2002. Both procedures changed my life immeasurably for the better. In both cases I was advised that there would be 8-12 weeks of recuperative time. In both cases I was back to work in 4 weeks. All of the comments about punctuality are accurate. If you have a 2PM appointment, you will be lucky to get in to see the Dr. by 5PM. But, the staff will tell you that and you plan accordingly, calling to see how late he is running. As for me, there is no amount of time I would not wait to see him. He is that caring and that good. He will answer your every question and then some. I would not hesitate for a moment to send my wife and kids to him and they are my life. The office setting, the staff, the punctuality are not what matters here, although they are not as bad as portrayed. His deep compassion and exquisite skills are what count. Don't hesitate and do not live in pain a moment longer than you have to. Dr. Fisch can & will help
Always a long wait but phone calls the day of visit can give a more realistic time as to go to the office. Once in with DR Fish you will know why you waited. He is thorough, caring, involved, and knowledgable explaining what he can do in great detail. I had invasive shoulder surgery and a new knee 9 yrs ago. It changed my life. Before the surgery I was in pain walking with a cane. Now at age 60 I can run, work in the garden on my knees and I have no pain at all. Both my shoulder and knee are like new.
After being in an auto collision w/a **** driver and sustaining 300+ fractures to my tibia & fibula and enduring complication after complication, Dr Fisch is the reason I can walk, almost run and even have a foot. Yes, the office wait is too long and his staff are uninspired lard asses however, once you get in to see him those inconveniences are forgotten. He is highly skilled, gentle, aware, smart and above all he is a healer. I hope he never retires. He's far better than his former partner Dr Benzion Benatar who the night of my injury told my hubby I'd never walk and told me to essentially give up. Not the kind of medical care you need in a crisis. Dr Fisch put everything in perspective and followed me with a hawks eye. He was accessible and always returned or took my calls immediately. Don't hesitate to go to him.
The office is poor and the Dr may have knowledge but it in no way makes up for staff that will not answer the phones five hour wait to see the Dr. and was told by the hospital staff he runs his O.R. in the same way. He will not be on his own to much longer he has been talking with very well known Dr for a place in there office if Dr Fisch became part off there staff he would bring them down. Glad he did not become part of there staff
Sure, there's a long wait, but he's worth waiting for. Completely thorough at every visit. If you want to be seen on time and then given the bum's rush don't see this doctor. If you want quality care and a doctor that will go the extra mile to make sure you understand what is happening to your body then Dr. Fish is for you.
