Ratings for Dr. Amy Andersen
Amy's gentleness and willingness to listen makes you feel comfortable. She is patient and never rushes an appointment. Amy is a very capable PCP who stays up-to-date in her profession. Amy is also happy to research information or to make referrals as needed.
Dr. Andersen is WONDERFUL! She really listens and takes time to explain things. She readily admits when she does not know something and always offers to research/consult or refer on anything beyond her expertise. She is the best PCP our family has ever had!
She has been my family doctor for almost 10 years and is WONDERFUL. My only complaint (if you want to call it that) is that everyone loves her and it takes time to get in to see her. She always takes her time to explain things, has a sweet bed-side manner and puts patients at ease by just being herself. Most of the MD's at Advantage Health are wonderful, but, she is the best. Advice for new patients --- careful when you check out of the Jenison office as the woman at the desk can be a BEAR if you forgot your checkbook and ask to be billed for your co-pay. Goodness, you'd think it was HER money. Gosh, what a meaney! Perhaps she's been instructed to behave this way, but, she is the ONLY one who is consistently MEAN.
