Ratings for Dr. David A. Stewart
oor Communication Skills and Bedside Manners He the single most arrogant, dispassionate, dismissive and aloof "Md." I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. After a substantial wait time of 45 min of wait time was a waste trip and waste of my time. Arrogant, a person who talks at you, not to you, appears to have anger issues. He didn't't have to diagnois my condition but required me to give him the names , addresses, phone and fax numbers of every doctor that I'd seen from the past 12 years. SAID he didn't want my records cause I could have forged them. Wanted those doctor's to fax them to him, and he still was a terrible doctor. Faxed my own records anyway just to show him the records weren't forged. I' m looking for another doctor cause I just can't and won't deal with him.. Another thing... upon a doctor's appt he rushed you out.. even with an appt you had to wait 45 minutes before he saw you.Doesn't..''t give you time to ask questions. HE TALKS but doesn't,'t allow you to explain anything. During one office visit.. I asked him why he was so rude because he asked me a question, as I was answering it, he was walking out of the room, leaving. He said that he was rude because he was through with this visit. Don't go to him..
Wow ! I can't believe all the poor ratings for Dr. Stewart, I've been seeing him for at least 6 years and he has been wonderful at helping me deal with chronic pain issues. I get Epidurala in my neck after a failed neck surgery in Boston left me with permanent neck and arm pain in both arms. I agree he is very busy and sometimes I do have to wait a while but I love him and am very grateful to him.
My experience with this doctor is eerily similar to many of the other reviews he has received before my own. This man is extremely unprofessional, arrogant and lacks compassion. I waited for 2 hours before he rushed into the room in his over the top multi colored suit that seemed more fit for going to a strip club than the type of attire you'd expect a doctor to wear. He spent almost 8 minutes with me, eyes down and rambling loudly half of which I couldn't decifer. I've had chronic back pain for 2.5 years and have been on pain medication almost as long. He told me to take the medication I had from my other doctor(a months supply) and ween myself off the medication. He would not write me any prescriptions for pain. He said to look into back surgery and to go to physical therapy. He then asked if I wanted to go through with this "plan of action" and schedule a return visit. I said no thank you, told him he had the worst bedside manner I'd ever seen and that he was arrogant and that is wanted my money back. This man cares nothing about his patients. He rushes them in and out, laughing all the way to the bank. I warn all to stay far and clear of this sorry excuse of a "Doctor"
As you wait for your appointment sometimes over an hour you can read the sign at reception that says " If you are more than 20 minutes late you will be asked to reschedule your appointment". You can wait on them but they won't wait on you. Also, when you make an appointment with the doctor you do not always see him you will see the nurse practitioner.
Dr. Stewart mismanaged my medicines causing me to use some that were very dangerous. He took me off of lidoderm patches to a cream he developed not covered by insurance. It cost $50. He gave me an epidural in a very rushed fashion leaving my neck bending forward for 8 weeks. This required many of hours of physical therary to gain the mobility ithat I had before he did the epidural. When I called the office with my concerns I was told I had to wait 30 days for my next appointment
Had to wait over 2 hours for my second appointment then when I finally get to see the doctor he wouldn't answer my questions about surgery and just said we will discuss it at my next appointment. Made me fell like he did not have time for me and just wanted my money. Nurses are very nice but Nurse Practitioner is very arrogant and judgemental as well as the doctor. I will never go back and would not recommend Dr. David Stewart to anyone
