Not great. I had an arrhythmia and went to see him. The type was benign, but the number of events was very high. His advice was not to worry about it. I asked if there was a chance it would go away. He said categorically no, it was permanent. I also asked if I should give up caffeine, he said it wouldn't help. The number of events (PVC's) went up over time and after 2 years I decided to give up caffeine entirely. It went away within three weeks. This means he was wrong on two accounts. The real problem, however, is he acts in a way that is unfortunately common to a lot of MDs: he confidently states things without really knowing the answer. This is irresponsible at the least, and potentially dangerous.

Seems nice but not a true medical detective for tougher conditions.
