Ratings for Dr. Catherine A. Grellet
Dr. Grellet seemed competant until she referred me to a newbie specialist who was inexperienced. I had been seeing Dr. Grellet for a few years and trusted her. After a failed surgery, Dr. Grellet had the audacity to fire me from her practice. Wait until it's their mistake to see how you're cared for.
Dr. Catherine Grellet switched to Concierge medicine and her attitude towards me changed without warning. She became hostile and condescending. Her nurse insisted on being in the room the whole time and repeatedly called me "her" as if I wasn't in the room. Grellet is in it for the money. H
Both ladies are just awesome! They both seem like they are your friends who really care about you. No matter how embarassing your issue is, they make you feel completely normal. I've never gotten hugs from a doctor before, even when I was really down about my chronic illness. They are huggers. All of the office staff are very helpful too.I just love how Cathy and Patel write everything down for you to do and consider. I don't have to worry about remembering anything...the whole visit is recorded on a pink paper to help remind you after the visit. Cathy has really helped improve the quality of my life and I am grateful to her!
Here Here! I agree completely. The entire office staff is wonderful and I DO hesitate to give a good recommendation only because I want to be sure I can get in when I need to! However, as the one person mentioned, it'd be a shame not to share their expertiese.
I have to agree with the previous posters--this doctor is a very rare breed. I came to her on the recommendation of 2 neighbors, having been disillusioned with the uninsightful advice of a young <40 doctor on the issues of aging (I'm 50+). Dr. Grellet was a breath of fresh air. My intake interview was orderly, thorough and she took the time to listen, understand, and respond to *every* issue. I can't tell you how phenomenal that was. She writes all her recommendations/referrals on a piece of paper to take with you--you don't have to worry about remembering what was discussed. I had a few issues to follow up with specialists and, so far, Dr. Grellet's initial assessment of things has been spot on the money. I hesitated to recommend her only because I was afraid her schedule would fill up! However, it is so rare to find a doctor of her caliber that I feel I have to share her with others.
Dr. Catherine Grellet and her nurse practitioner, Lopa Patel, should be nominated for Doctors of the Decade award. Their extensive knowledge and professionalism outperforms any I have ever come in contact with. You feel as if you are their only patient and will do everything in their power to make you better!. They treat you as a whole person and not just your aliment. They look beyond your specific ailment for outlining causes that could contribute and treat your mind and your body as a whole. They do not make you feel like “Oh you again” no matter how many times you come in with the same ailment. They make you feel special each time and you know they will make it better. I have had many odd medical conditions that others could not diagnose let alone treat. Cathy gets it on the first time around. Cathy and Lopa’s knowledge base on up to date medicine is to be commended as I don’t know where they find the time. If you get in to see them then you have seen the best of the best
