Ratings for Dr. A. Andy Subramanium
I went to Dr.Andy and he was unsociable and refused to check me when it was time for my yearly pap smears and breast excames. he told me to go to the county health clinic. He refeered me to a specislist for everything from a hang nail to a head cold. He would not touch me and could not understand what I was telling him . His wife was very rude and so was his staff.
I have gone to Dr Andy for a little over 4 years now. He is extremely good and his staff is always helpful and friendly. I am pre-diabetic and the doctor checks my blood glucose level every 3 months. He is very conscientious and astute. I notice the waiting room people. They range greatly in age and seemingly conditions. I know of 3 others that go to him. All are very happy with him. One in particular had feet problems that he was able to diagnose that her problem resulted as a side-effect of one of her medicines - prescribed by another doctor. Dr Andy has a new nurse assistant that sometimes sees me. She sees patients at times for a well check-up. She is extremely good. I had a serious complaint that she was able to direct me in pretty much curing. This was a side-affect of 2 of my medications = prescribed by another doctor. Due to her advice that doctor took me totally off one of them and reduced the other by 25%. Have Medicare only. Payments are often worked out.
I came to Dr. Andys practice as a result of heat stroke. My own doctor had moved away. I have used his services for a couple of years and been pleased with every visit. The staff is pleasant and the facilities clean. I'm kind of a grumpy old fossil and wouldn't say I like things if I didn't.
Dr. Andy and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, awsome people. They take excellent care of you and get you in and out of the office in about 15 to 30 minutes. Usually closer to 15. They take good care of you, Dr. Andy takes time to answer your questions and take care of what is ailing you.
Dr Andy...you mean Dr Amdidijari Subramanium! Im from "off" and just moved here trying to locate a family physcian for me and my family, Dr Andys staff was very rude and unhelpfull! His practice reminds me of a cross between a bank and a buffet bar. He wouldnt accept us due to me having a medical history of cronic back pain which I might add is under control for the next few years from my previous Dr. Needless to say he was tooooo scared to deal with a new patient without insurance maybe its a money thing idk well what was the problem anyway?!?! I spoke to his wife and she had little to no concern so after searching around I found a Dr who wasnt scared of a patient with health issues, showed some compassion and seems to be the best in Mtn View! After my experience I believe that if your last resort for a family Dr is Dr Andy youd be better off going to another town unless you like rude people.
Dr. Andy and staff are friendly, and courteous even through challenging tasks like the pre authorizations my insurance company requires. To date they have been attentive and helpful. Dr. has addressed each of my concerns with compassion and competence to resolution, which was a big change from my previous physician. I appreciate Dr. and staff.
Dr. Andy is a friendly Dr. and Did a great job getting my Thyroid back on track. And also got my husband taken care of very well when needed. But It has been over a year now and he hasn't done anymore Blood tests to check on my Thyroid. it should be checked every 6 mo. I saw Dr. Andy just yesterday and I was only in the office about 5 min. with him and He says come back in 3 mo. I have talked to him several times about my Arthritis and he has never had me take any x-rays to see whats going on and this concerns me. He has issued pain meds. and I told him that they are too strong, they just make me sleep. I am starting to have second thoughts about using Dr. Andy. I thought Dr.s were suppose to always have a nurse in the room when they examine a patient. He does not. And that concerns me also. I also told him about some dizziness I've been having and I don't think he showed enough concern about it. I am not a person that complains of being ill. So I expected him to be more concerned too
