Ratings for Dr. Scott Wilson
This jerk had the nerve to ask me if I had "recorded" muscle spasms I have been experiencing in my feet and toes. Might as well have asked me point blank if I was lying. Asked if he could reccommend something to help my painful nightly muscle spasms in my legs and feet. His answer: " I am not a magician with a magic wand." Glad I found this ratings section about him. It's nice to know I am not his only "victim". My family doctor has figured out that I have Fibromyalgia. Thank God for primary care physicians. They seem to be way more knowledgeable than these narrow minded, specialists. And definitely more compassionate and respectful. Scott should not be allowed to practice. He clearly is tired of his job.
Not a good experience. Don't wait for a call back because you won't get one. It has been close to a year that I have been waiting for an appointment or even a call back. You will not hit a real person only a voice mail. On the sole occasion in the last year I did get a real person I never got an appointment or real answer - just that I was on 'the list' and he is very busy so you have to wait your turn.
Dr Wilson's staff do not return emails or phone calls unless you bombard them and fill up the voicemail system. My husband has been waiting a year to get a report from this "doctor" for insurance purposes and to have a followup exam. The staff has stated he is on some Board and has not been seeing patients as he's "too busy." Don't waste your time with this "doctor" if you actually want answers about your health.
After waiting 4 months to see this dr my visit was a complete waste of time. I think I am going to have to give up on ever getting help if this is the level of care and competence offered. I would not reccomend this guy. He just doesnt seem to care about helping you.
The last 4 comments were obviously written by the same individual - probably Wilson or his staff. Notice the use of the same adjectives, punctuation and message (all refuting negative comments)? Also note they were posted at 3 day intervals over a 10 day period. This is not a doctor that you want to see, unless you are looking for someone to shrug off your concerns, insinuate either "mental health issues" or "drug seeking behaviour", and leave you needing to wait many months more to see a proper neurologist.
I thought he was wonderful. To the point and knew what he was doing. Had a good sense of humour. I really like him!
Excellent Doctor, was scared of going after reading reviews. Was very knowledgable, and nice.
Was referred to Dr. Wilson to check for possible neurological issues in connection to my "wonky" right foot. I found him quite pleasant to talk to. Seeing all the more negative reviews on here, I'm surprised. I guess it's true that you just can't make everyone happy all of the time!
I went to rate your md website to read about Dr Wilson before my appt this morning and was surprised at all the negativity! I'd seen Dr Wilson a year ago for the same reason and my impression then was the complete opposite to the comments written here. Now, second time round, my first impression has only been confirmed. I find Dr Wilson to be thorough, knowledgable and kind.
