Ratings for Dr. Stewart F. Stowers
I would recommend Dr. Stowers to anyone. He treated me for a rotator cuff injury. He started with the least intrusive procedure but finally resulted in surgery. He explained the procedure fully in advance, and completed the surgery on an out patient basis. It took less than 3 hours for the full procedure and was home in less than 5 hours. Imade a full recovery and my shoulder is stronger than ever. Later, with a back injury, he scheduled all the necessary tests but upon diagnosis recommended a specialist.
Rude. Mean to his own staff. Had somewhere he wanted to be and made me feel like I was in the way of his social life. The office is a huge place with a hundred other doctors and patients everywhere. I felt like a number. After a couple of visits, I decided to go somewhere where the doctor would at least put me first while I was sitting in front of him. I also wanted to go to an office where I was treated as a human being, not a name or a number. I later found out that he has been divorced twice in the last 5 years and married a younger woman on the 3rd go-round. Maybe that is why he was so anxious to get me out of there.
