Her staff is quite rude and aloof and the wait time is awful. She is however quite knowledgable and has helped me resolve some serious skin diagnosis. I've noticed that when I call for a medical appointment the wait time can be months, but if I book it under a 'cosmetic' procedure ($$$$$), I usually get an appointment within days - of course, assuming I can get through, as you can see when you're there that the receptionists disconnect the phones to catch up on their paperwork - or lunch - or chit chat.
Given an appointment at 8:45am. Office expected to be open at 8:30. Office is closed still at 9:00 am. No one called my home to cancel appointment taken with dr. Wang 3 month ago. Sitting outside with another patient. Shame on you so called professionals! I called the phone message says it is open on Fridays at 8:30 am. Though mail voice says it is full and does not take message. Great!! They charge patient when they do not show up to scheduled appointment, the question is what is patient option when the opposite happens.
Dr Beatrice Wang is always in a hurry, never has time to really check a patient. Also she has no respect for the appointments, you can get there at 10 for your appointment, but you see people coming after are taken care before you. Very disrespectful if you will not have any extra treatment. I guess money comes first. So if you go there you will have to wait 90 minutes or more...Better find another doctor...
I really like this doctor. Even though it's a busy place, the staff is effective and always polite. They treat me with a lot of respect even though I'm a young adult. Dr. Wang has a busy schedule, so every appointment goes fast, but she will answer every question I have with a smile.
I have been a patient of Dr Wang for about 4 years. Was diagnosed with pre cancer cells, and were removed in her office. She has always been on time,no more then a 10 min wait and for those that have a hard time getting through to make an appointment, here's a tip.. take a trip to Westmount Square and make one in person ! I have nor had any problems with Dr Wang.
I saw her once and I wish I had not! She didn't seem so interested in looking at my skin at all!
I went there for a fibroma that she decided that it should stay on my skin, and I thought maybe she can help also with a better skin care. Without even looking at my skin, she prescribed me bunch of super expensive lotions and medications. I started using them few days ago and now I am left with a super sensitive skin, burns, rashes, and acne on my face! Will never go back.
I like her. She was a little cold at first, but when you get to know her, she becomes very relax and very nice. She can look like she is not concerned with her patient problems but she is. She is an intellectual, good doctors don't need to make jokes, they need to treat their patients. And that is what she does.
It is a private clinic, and they are there to make money as any businesses in the world.
And to be quite honest, there is no dermatologist left in Mtl.
The last one told me that apparently, the Collège des médecins, do not recommend you getting check for your beauty marks, ever.
That tells you a lot about the lack of health care in Qc. I mean, when your doctor tells you not to get a check up, when you already have 8 beauty marks removed...by previous doctors....who told you to get check every 3 months...
