Ratings for Dr. Ade A. Akande
The medical board needs too send a undercover. Agent in just too see how this rude. And uncaring. This Health. Care.provider I use. That. Trem loosely .really is and see if they. Would. Go to this man or send one of their. Loved. Ones. And if they. Would. Really. Want this man as a representative. Of health. Care. In our country
I saw the dr on 12 Sept 14. After 30 years in the military I was medically discharged. His staff IS rude because he is rude. When I was explaining how Express-Scripts works to the desk paperwork person he doctor over heard the conversation and relayed to the nurse I could get out of his office if I did not like the way it is run. What a great welcome. I brought the cd's of MRI's from past bone fusions and my chronic pain in my lower back. I wanted to be pro-active and brought along a 4 page print of all the meds I had tried. He took offense that I brought the list. Went on to brag about himself all the while putting me down. The kicker to this office visit was he never asked which meds worked and which ones did not. A high school dropout would have the common sense to get patient feed back. He whispers to the nurse what to write. The patient has no idea what medicine they are getting until they check out. I my case over have the dose of what I was on the month before. He is from Nigeria. Rather than go back to help his fellow countrymen he stayed in the US. Probably pays better. Almost always a health care person will say thank you for your service to the country when I tell them I've done 6 combat rotations. Not this guy. On checkout I was given same stuff I tried 2 month ago without good results. I asked the nurse to see if he would change it. No way. I asked about a follow up. Answer was no, go back to your PCP. In summary this was by far the worst doctor visit I've ever had. The doctor and crew are non-professional, rude, with no interaction with the patient. If you are a combat veteran, steer clean of this clown show. I will leave my name and phone #. If you need another reason not to waste time and money on this clown show. Dr. Akande was not what he made his self out to be at my first visit. I was under the impression that he was going to be informative and encouraging. How I was wrong. He was not only rude my last four visits(I only saw him a total of 5 times). He not only asked my inapproiate questions, he also made suggestions that were unrelated to my treatment. I would not recommend him to anyone. I am so appalled that a Doctors beside manner would be so terrible that I have made a complaint against him with the BBB and the North Carolina Medical Board.
1st visit with this Dr. was very disapointing, he assumed things without any results in front of him, I feel he judged me about losing weight , when every1 is different, not every1 is supposed to be skinny , this man is kinda hurtful, not caring about peoples feelings, if he was concerned about weight loss , he should have chosen to work for Jenny Craig.Just a very rude person, but maybe when results are in from tests he will stop judging and give me the care I need !!!!
gave me meds that i begged him not to ended up in the er called 3 days straight then refused to see me or call in anything else until the next appointment! also uncaring and very rude and not for the peoples needs!! been going to him for almost 5 years cause he was the close to me at the time!
Very knowledgable , kind , caring man. procedures were done precise and right , had pain chronic pain over 11 years and he helps with the shots and other methods of pain control , i can now function and live a better life with my family of 8 eight . definately 5 stars :)
