Ratings for Dr. Patricia W. Williams
Dr. Williams is what is now considered a Psychopharmaceutical Psychiatrist. This is the norm for today. One Dr. in charge of meds and another for therapy. This being said she is very knowledgeable and takes time to review and consider medications needed. She also is able to refer to a therapist whom she will work in conjunction with. My only negative would be the music in her waiting room as some people like myself cannot tolerate noise.
She is a danger to anyone seeking treatment. She does not seem to care about her clients. She labels people with a certain illness only minutes after meeting them for the first time. She charges for "psychotherapy" when no psychotherapy was done. After experiencing very serious side effects from her prescription, her secretary told me to keep taking the drug. I could not get a hold of her. My symptoms got much worse while I was under her care, and improved greatly once I started seeing someone else.
