Like most surgeons in the field of neurology they have to have a good plan. I had a micro dissected me decompression in March of this year L5-S1. I was informed that it was 85% chance of fix. He is very knowledgeable Johns Hopkins trained and informative. But on a follow-up found out that neural foraminl narrowing of L5 was not resolved. Not very satisfied with my results. But each of us as patients very with our problems and needs. Will return for follow-up visit to discuss single level fusion will keep you posted.

Dr. Haroun is the best of the best. Just so knowledgeable and knows his stuff when it comes to Neurosurgery. Even as head of the Department at St. Agnes he is very attentive, and explains all. Very, very, thorough and if I was still in MD I would be going to him now for lower back issues. Did neck fusion. This is one doc you can trust to do the right thing when it comes to surgery. Doesn't just "operate". He makes damn sure its the right thing to do....just the best of the best
