Run the other way. My husband has been a patient over 25 years . Enough is enough! He is required to go every three months in order to get his medications. His health has been stable for 20 years. This is a money maker. The pharmacy just called to let us know that the request for his blood pressure med was denied because he needs to make an appointment. He goes EVERY 3 months and has an appointment Monday. It is Friday the office is closed he does not have enough pills. They DO NOT care about the patients only the money they bring in. I have been yelled at by office staff when calling about bills that are sent years after the visits. They have accused my husband of not paying the co pays altough it is the first thing they ask for when you walk in. BTW all complaints and actions against doctors are public knowledge.
Dr. Hochberger is profoundly knowledgeable; just ask him. Actually, you needn't ask him; he will tell you how smart and how great he is. Like many of his profession, he believes that his time is more valuable than that of his patients, resulting in long delays for anyone with an afternoon appointment. His staff is abominably inefficient and incompetent, incapable of executing a request for a prior authorization and following that up with a timely prescription that actually gets filled.
Currently looking for more experiences with this office and it's staff. Unproffesional and incompetent to say the least. Poor service, poor follow thru, Dr and staff SUPER DEFENSIVE when asked questions. The staff will hang up the phone instead of taking the time to listen and answer the question or need and the Dr doesn't know how to respond when dissatisfaction is shared with him.
Worst office personel to deal with very RUDE!! Run while you can.. your annual visit should have no copay they charged my husband still.. told him they would reimburse him if that was true... never saw the money.... Office mngr has no clue.... rude and ignorant...
If you are reading this review, do yourself a favor, and click out and find another doctor! This office a complete nightmare! The office staff is terrible, not knowledgeable, rude, obnoxious and Nancy, the Office Manager, there are no words for her
He is great he knows his stuff always willing to help. Other than the wait time and his wife i have no complaints. His office staff is constantly changing most likely because of his wife, she hires anyone most of them have no clue about anything. She on the otherhand is a real winner she must have read how to run an office for dummies because she has no clue on how to run an office, everytime i go in for a visit she is arguing with a patient or yelling at her husband in front of patients rudest person i ever met! Stay clear of her im surprised shes still there. Always get a reciept for whatever you pay because chances are you'll get a bill later! No clue at all about billing. She'll argue with you even tho she is the wrong one.
This doctor is the one of the best! Ive been going to him for yrs a lot has changed since his wife has come into the office..she is all about money she is so rude and I feel bad for her staff bc they have to deal with her attitude..She over books the dr bc so she doesnt lose money she charges for everything make sure you get a receipt bc she doesnt know what she is doing with the billing. He is great with his patients sometimes the jokes can be a little too much but just deal with it! Back to his wife she is killing his practice, I know many patients that have left only bc of her. She is unprofessional, rude and thinks she is all that...she needs to take some classes on business managemen. It's sad that when you talk to the girls that work there she is always listening and she always has something to say..pat attn to your own stuff like the DOG that doesnt belong there!!
Justt to start off this doctor is one of the best, but his staff makes it impossable to want to go there. His wife who is the office manager has no class and 0 ability to deal with patients. When she makes mistakes she can't even take resposibilty for them. She one time sent my persrcription to the wrong pharmacy and them blamed the pharmacys' computer for sending the perscription to the wrong place. She is so non-professional and extremely rude and arogant. She puts more emphasis on money than on the patient. It's a shame because before she was in that office it was a whole different world there. The sad thing is that Dr. H is losing so many patients due to his wife and the unprofessional staff who is under the guides of his wife they show the same type of lacking and caring as she does. And the DOG needs to be put n a kennel or left home.
I've been seeing Dr. H for many years and really like him. I've always found him easy to talk to, knowledgeable and willing to spend the time to listen. His jokes may be a little lame but I prefer it to other doctors I've seen with no personality. He spends a lot of time with his patients, although this also affects the time you're waiting to see him. The wait time is a lot less than years ago but this is probably due to seeing less patients each day-that's a problem when you need to get an appt. for a sick visit. I agree with others that his staff lacks professionalism and it's frustrating to see the drug rep's walk right it. I suppose the positive side to the drug rep visits is that the Dr. often has samples on hand if you can't afford a short-term Rx.
