Horrific experience with this surgeon. Was unaware until after he saw me that he has restrictions on his license and cannot prescribe pain medication nor work alone. What surgeon practices and cannot prescribe pain medication? The injury I dealt with was not managed at all, and there waa not even physio recommended after a major fracture. I attempted to get into see him for a follow up appointment due to complications, and was told I had to wait more than 1.5 month simply to get an appointment. Every question i asked was told to refer to my family physician. I was also informed that he is being sued for malpractice and will likely loose his license. Do not see this physician if you want to recover from your injury.

Dr Sheps did surgery on my wrist for repair of Colle's fracture in 2013. He is an excellent surgeon. I had full use of my wrist and hand within 6 weeks.

Rude doctor who is impatient. Ge has a chaperone which made me feel uncomfortable. He dies not operate so don’t understand why I could not even see a doctor who will actually operate on me

A rude arrogant doctor and when I looked him up , his license Says he can’t prescribe nor work alone. He can’t even operate so I’m unsure why I was seeing him

Dr David Sheps repaired my labrum and rotator cuff tear. As a Baseball pitcher wanting to return to the sport, was very pleased with the Pre and post operation care. Very fast rehab time, it was painfull and lots of work. Well worth it. Thank you

Great doctor, should take more time to explain things other than that, I had a very good experience with my broken wrist.

Dr. Sheps repaired my rotator cuff (supraspinatus) in July 2016. This was a private procedure and I feel very fortunate to have received care from Dr. Sheps. I am always a bit of a skeptic when it comes to doctors and surgeons just due to negative experiences in the past involving family members on various types of surgeries. I was worried going into this at first. Private surgery is a large out of pocket expenditure and you definitely want to ensure you are getting the best possible care. Dr. Sheps understands this and has a calm and professional confidence that was very reassuring, from the initial consult, all the way through to full recovery and especially pre and post op. He was there to answer any questions and concerns that I had and responded pretty much immediately to any queries (as he gave me mobile telephone number) day or night. I can't praise him enough for his care and attention. The pain caused by this surgery was surprising despite being warned before hand. At times throughout the recovery process, I would wonder "how could there still be this much pain" if my body was recovering properly. However, Dr. Sheps was pretty much exact in describing my current phase in the recovery process and when the pain would subside, again providing reassurance and lending confidence that everything was on the right track. In terms of the actual surgical procedure, the nursing and support staff were absolutely fantastic with wonderful facilities. Thank you for making the best of an unfortunate injury.
