Ratings for Dr. Richard J. Dinsdale
I don't have a problem with Dr. Dinsdale - but certainly with the Desert Grove Family Medical practice. As of today I am my family will no longer go there. We have given them a long leash, and they've hung themselves: Missed a cancer diagnosis, incorrectly diagnosed a cancer when it was a cyst, needless office call-backs requiring another visit (which is just another billable event!). The PA's, office staff, and business practices are terrible. I wouldn't trust the PA's to diagnose my cat.
I have been a patient of Dr. Dinsdale's for over 20 years. If it wasn't for him my Son wouldn't be here. I had a very sick little boy he even at one point gave me his home # which I did have to use a couple of times. he would couch me how to count breathing and advise me when to take to hospital. which at 3am he had met me and my son. He was truly a God send. So he has been my 3 kids Doctor and today I am making my new 4day old Grandson a appt ! We Love you Dr Dinsdale you are an amazing Dr and a wonderful person. and yes It may be hard to get a appt sometimes but if you didn't have such a high fan base! lol God Bless Kimberly
I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR DINSDALE FOR ALMOST A YEAR NOW AND HIS MEDICAL ASSISTANTS B.S YOU AROUND , REFUSE TO GET REFILS ON YOUR MEDICINES THAT THE DR IS WELL AWARE YOU NEED ON A DAILY BASIS, THEY JUST ALWAYS WANT YOU TO COME IN EVEN WHEN IT COMES DOWN DO A MIGRANE MEDICINE REFIL ALSO HE LOWERS YOUR DOSAGES AS A NEW PATIENT RATHER THAN DOING THE SAME AS YOUVE BEEN ON FOR 2 YRS , ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY AND TO WASTE YOUR TIME TO COME IN TO GET A SIMPLE REFIL ON MEDICATION YOUVE BEEN ON FOR YEARS----- RIDICULOUS AND IM THINKING OF SWITCHING BACK TO MY OLD PRIMARY CARE DR BECAUSE OF THIS SITUATION.
I have been under Dinsdale's care for 7 years. I finally began seeing another Dr. The experience of 1 appt vs. 7 years of appts with Dinsdale was night and day!!! I finally feel like my health "TRUELY" matters to a medical professional. Dr. Dinsdale runs a "Cattle Call" operation. If there is any knowledge by him or his associates they don't share it. They do however share the basic info anyone with a bit of "Google" experience could obtain. I have taken so many test and never received any results from them or even know why I was sent to them. Now that I am 48 yrs old and have genuine concerns about my health I am looking forward to being partnered and treated by a doctor that shares valuable information, explains what is happening and why and can set up an appointment without an early morning "race to the phone and be the first 50 callers of the day". I consider myself very lucky to have been healthy while under his care. There've been those not so lucky I've been told.
I have been using Dr. Dinsdale or doctors associated with his practice for over 5 years and have fond them all to be very helpful. All the staff have been pleasant and with few exceptions have had a waiting time less than 10 minutes. Dr. Dinsdale seems up to date on all the latest developments in the family practice field. I do recommend them.
He let me down. When I was in desperate need of help, he refused to treat me saying I was disruptive. I was, but at the time I didnt know it. I had stupidly mixed xanax and tramadol and nearly o.d. He didn't see that. My normal behavior is nice, quiet, I have no recollection of what I did. Only what people tell me. he let me down when I could have died. As a Doctor he should have known something was wrong. I will never, ever seek help from any Doctor again.
