Ratings for Dr. Christian S. Fahey
More into money than helping patients. Staff had sent a bill to trustee that was way overcharged- their mistake. Had an appointment and the called to confirm it and never mentioned bill not paid. Came in in pain and Fictor refused to see me even thought ithe bill was several hundred dollars wrong. They discovered I only owed $50. Trustee refused to pay bill over the phone because did not trust them to put the corrected amount on her card. Even though this office had been paid previously over $5,000 with insurance and co pay and even though Imy appointment had been confirmed, and even though I had paid cash $25 to be driven there and was in pain and they had not told me over the phone their was a payment problem, the doctor refused to see me that day. Said it himself.
When I arrived, the nurse was having a personal conversation with the receptionist. I waited assuming the nurse would continue her conversation at a later time but no SHE KEPT ON TALKING. This was the same nurse that triaged me and she was not pleasant (I think maybe she should have stayed home). Every other staff member I encountered was awesome. My initial visit with Dr. Fahey was very informative. We are awaiting test results to plan the course of treatment together. He understands my concerns. Had it not been for that unprofessional nurse, this may have been a pleasant visit. When people visit specialists such as this, most are oftentimes in pain, moody and irritable...what we do not need is staff that proves to be insensitive to that. A patient does NOT care why your marriage did not work not should they be privy to that information
I was treated by Dr. Fahey for a broken hand. I had multiple fractures in three different bones. Dr. Fahey and his staff were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Dr. Fahey always gave me his undivided attention when treating me and provided me with comprehensive responses to my questions and concerns. He used conservative, but effective treatment to resolve my injury. I would and have recommended him to others who are seeking treatment for hand or wrist problems.
My hand was ran over by an 80,000 pound truck I was sent to this Dr for treatment after having a couple of fingers partially amputated and a bust in the palm of my hand repaired at the med the first couple of visits went well my fingers started contracting and his nurse seen me at a birthday party ar a bar well she went and told him I was 3 sheets into the wind and using my hand normally well on my next visit he put this in my permanent medical records then preceded to tell me all that was wrong with me was it was in my head and that if he would put me to sleep my hand would open well a year and half later two fingers are about 3/4 the way open and the other two have had to be amputated because I didn't get the right treatment soon enough thanks Dr fahey and your nurse
