Carterton Medical Centre

Got to be the worst practice in New Zealand. You can have a certificate that says your a doctor but it does not mean you know what your doing. Are you interested in peoples health or how much you can earn. This place is found wanting badly and the health board must be as useless as the staff and doctor at this place as this has been going on for a few years now and nothing has triggered their interaction. Labor government (In it for you) ???? Doctor death. That's all that is waiting for you at this practice. A real doctor and government want to help people

This centre has gone downhill since Dr Craig Cherry retired. Average time wait for an appointment is a month, the new doctor avoided doing a prostate check when I requested it. I feel apprehensive about going there, counter staff unfriendly, I feel like I am imposing on their time and the medic I visited isn't really interested in me as a patient.

have to wait over 3 weeks for an urgent appointment for a doctor to not even do any tests and brush you off, you don't feel heard here no matter who you see or for whatever problem the staff always act like you are a complete inconvenience and waste of time, really gone down hill and they cannot blame it on covid anymore. absolutely horrible service, too bad i have no choice but to stay here because its the only practice in town

Used to be a good practice but times have changed. Evening calling before the appointment to see how long the delay is doesn't mean you won't end up wasting 45 minutes in the unwelcoming waiting area. So many staff but so little service. Front desk staff aren't friendly at all anymore, and follow up is non existant.
