This New Coffee Has the Same Health Benefits as Red Wine

A University of New Hampshire chemist has created a coffee that supposedly has the same healthy benefits of a glass of red wine.

Chemist Glen Miller combined Arabica coffee beans with resveratrol, the natural antioxidant found in the skins of grapes used to make red wine. The resveratrol is added when the beans are roasted for his CoffVee product to provide the health boon.

Across various studies, a glass of red wine has been linked to lower blood pressure, increases in good cholesterol, lower stress, and an increased sex drive.

Miller stumbled across this super coffee when he combined coffee and resveratrol in his kitchen. He claims one cup of CoffVee has the equivalent health value of a glass of red wine.

Not limiting the properties of resveratrol to just coffee, Miller is considering other infusions with tea and bottled water. CoffVee is now being sold through the Vera Roasting Company.
