There’s arguably no better way to stomach healthy ingredients than by sneaking them into your favourite desserts.
From slipping kale to your cocktail to adding cucumber to your ice pops, there’s always a fun twist you can add to your sweet treats.
But are you skilled enough to include chickpeas seamlessly into your dessert recipes?
No, we aren’t kidding. This hard-to-utilize ingredient has tremendous health benefits – they’re a member of the exclusive super-healthy pulse family, and offer splendid neutral flavours.
They shouldn’t be limited to tahini’s sidekick in hummus recipes or salads. They’re ideal for adding a bit of nutritional value to your desserts. These following three dessert recipe ideas, courtesy of Health.com, are suited to anyone – they’re all gluten-free and vegan-friendly.
