Tired of the same old sandwich sack lunch?
These three bento box lunches are healthy, creative, and delicious. We can’t help you if Steve from accounting steals it from the work fridge, though.
Mini pizza bento
Who doesn’t love leftover pizza? These are more or less the same, with some twists. You can’t pack copious amount of dough into a bento box, so cut an English muffin and spread some pizza sauce on each half. Sprinkle on some mozzarella cheese, and add Italian seasonings to taste. Bake them in the oven the night before at 400 for about 10 minutes. You can even prep them on Sunday and store in the fridge for the rest of the work week. Pair your mini pizzas with apples, cherry tomatoes, and a fruit or nut bar.
Hard boiled eggs bento
Hard boiled egg lunches are so simple and filling, and you can make them in minutes. We won’t go over how to hard boil eggs, but we suggest pairing them with vegetables like bell peppers and cucumber slices, and a granola or fruit bar.
For those that love to dip, pick your favourite type of hummus and toss in a bunch of easily dunkable sides. Pretzels, carrot sticks, and cucumber slices are easy to throw together for this mini bento box platter. This one’s so healthy, feel free to add in a little treat, like an almond butter cup.
