Absolute scam artist. He takes exorbitant amounts of money from his victims and gives them sugar water. It is predatory at its best and extremely dangerous at its worst. His patients desperately need to go find real medical help. The VEGA machine does not work and has been proven by the scientific community to be a scam.

Dr Ryder is a gem and I wouldn't be alive if not for him over the 30 years. Allopathic doctors just want to apply bandages with antibiotics, but he heals. Depending on the complexity, some symptoms may not disappear quickly. Think of peeling the layers of onions.

Pure rubbish. That's what his wonderful machine is that Gerald uses. It gives false results. I intentionally brought one of my meds which I'm allergic too as e proven by science and physicians; however, his machine failed to indicate this. It's also a fairly common medication

Personally, I'd rather go to Mexico or South America accredited medical facilities which are evidence based, peer scrutinized and reviewed unlike the homeopathy Gerald uses. Oh, sure. In Germany they use this machine. But who are they? What makes Germany so special?

Additionally, has anyone else noticed for every negative comment here, there ls a positive one posted shortly thereafter? Are these bots or what? Long live the power of the placebo effect and sugar (water) bottles.

Dr Ryder is the only doctor who actually helped my 3 kids' chronic eczema, food sensitives and other things. He is SO knowledgeable and patient with my kids and has explained how our healing path will be like.
People who do not understand homeopathic remedies, and say they can't work because they are tasteless and odourless, need to educate on what homeopathy is.
They have been working miraculously for my kids. Why add sugar to remedies when they work just fine. He is just that type of doctor, no sugar coating. Thank you Dr Ryder

Quaker. I hope others read this before spending their money, but VanCity is a privileged and wealthy city.

There's no evidence based double-blind studies to support what this retired MD claims his remedies do. He loves to say they're from Germany. There's quackery everywhere. There's the placebo effect. And the placebo effect is well documented in evidence based literature. Just search cbc and homeopathy if you want to see the extent of how once credible physicians have now resorted to this sort of snake oil treatment to earn a quick buck.

Dr Ryder has saved my healthy so many times over many years. My family doc just wants to pump my body with antibiotics which have weakened my immune. Ryder heals and does not apply bandages (as Western medicine does).

Ryder's Vega machine and his potions are nothing short of voodoo in my opinion. It's snake oil. If people want to believe they work, well it will for some. That's the beauty of the mind.

He made no mention that he's the "last stop" and if he can help (or not). I find him exploitative and even belligerent when challenged.

As far as getting the contents of these little brown bottles assayed? Well, let's just say the science speaks for itself. Not recommended.

I have read many of the comments below. He has been very clear at the outset with both myself and a friend that I referred, that he is the 'last stop.' He was very clear that at the outset whether he thought he could help or not, and that I had tried all other avenues. He didn't want to see my friend until after he had explored all the regular procedures. As for the comments about the cost of his homeopathic meds, his meds are actually quite cheap compared to others in my experience. My story: he was VERY helpful to me decades ago when I was very sick.. and when a different though related set of sx appeared several years ago, I went back when I heard that he had gone back into homeopathy. I find him to be a sincere practitioner. Efficacy this time around? He has definitely helped with clarifying my food sensitivities, though not 100%. I find I still react slightly to some things he says should be OK. The placebo effect can't account for everything :) I have been gradually getting better over the summer while seeing him... do I ascribe the results to GR? For me this has not been a costly experience, relatively... I will continue to see him but on a less frequent basis and see where this goes. Overall... positive forward direction. I could mention several anecdotal stories where I really think his meds resulted in a sudden improvement. I don't typically give reviews, but after the negative views some have stated below, though I would give my 2 cents :)

I think he's a quack. His methods remain unproven in North America and seem to be based on the placebo effect.
