She believed that I was doctor shopping because my gp quit the clinic. I told her to call them and ask for herself. Seriously unprofessional

I honestly believe that Dr. Sundakov wanted to help me, but over time it became evident that her priorities are self interested. I had a rare and severe reaction to a medication prescribed by her. She responded to this with condescension, and by showing a lack of belief or trust for anything I said thereafter. She pulled up my psych notes to try and entrap me with lying and went insofar as to imply that I was drug seeking. That was the final straw. The entire experience was traumatic, and only when I was visibly distressed could she feign empathy. Negative side effects were ignored, and her harmful personal views were expressed; the red flags were there from the beginning. Some positives are that she is otherwise very intelligent, thorough, punctual, and takes pride in her positive outcomes.

Had no idea of what to expect. Went because gp suggested. So happy I did!

Dr Sundakov has been extremely helpful to our son. She was very welcoming of us and his wife being involved in his care. She was very available and supported us all through a very difficult time.

Absolutely awful. I am sure she has been helpful for others, and she was somewhat helpful for me in the beginning but on my last and final visit she was didn't listen to the serious side effects I was experiencing with my medication, was incredibly patronising, and gave a lot of her (very offensive) personal views rather a professional opinion. She was sexist, condescending and downright unprofessional. I would never go back and I would never recommend her to anyone. Staff there are lovely though!

Sundakov was my doctor during my stay in the Marie Bashir Acute Mental Health Unit. She was disinterested in my condition, perhaps because of the lack of severity compared to other patients. She is not a warm person and most of the nursing staff dislike her aswell. I suppose you would be a good client if you're a middle aged woman, ie, someone she can relate to. Not a helpful doctor at all.

I live rurally and had been seeing someone on the coast where I live. But I felt stuck. So my Gp referred me to Dr Sundakov whom she said she had trained with as junior doctors years ago. I now drive to Sydney every few months because I think the travel is worth it. My problems have been around a long time and I am sure will stay with me for a long time. However, I don't feel stuck any more. Worth the drive

I have spent years being treated for my mood swings, depression and anxiety. I have had lots of medications that have made me fat, drowsy and destroyed my sex life. I saw Dr Sundakov last year as lock down has been hard and I thought I should see someone again. Her approah was quite different to my previous treatment. No discussion about bipolar, understanding of my child hood and subsequent problems. She referred me for Dialectical Behavioural Therapy something noone else had ever done. I have just completed my DBT course and now I am only on one medication and not 4. Life is so much better. Of course at times I struggle but I am extremely grateful for being referred to the DBT. Life changing for me.

I went as my long term anxiety was not being controlled by the antidepressants I had been prescribed by my gp. Change in medications made huge difference and enabled me to use the psychological therapy I had been getting from my psychologist much more effectively.

Went there as an end of the road; finally I would have all the clear answers I was seeking.
The doctor asked a lot of personal questions and left me very upset and in the end I walked away with a handwritten list of tests, psychologist just an address no name, Endocrinologist, cardiologist. It was like a flick pass, so I was back to the drawing board no answers just a list, a very very expensive time consuming errands. Not very helpful.
