They seem to like to overcharge and then neglect to bill the insurance company in a timely manner. Then turn around and bill the patient for the full amount as the insurance company states clearly that they must submit claims within 180 days. I will fight this as far as necessary and if necessary take So AZ Perio to court to get my money back. It's not a lot, but now it's about principle. Beware consumer! Beware patient! They blame it on the insurance carrier, but the carrier submitted proof to me that it is So AZ Perio's negligence. This will also be reported to the AZ Board of Dental Examiners, CMS and possible to the State Attorney General if there is a pattern. (yet to be determined)

I had an ALL-ON-4(upper and lower). Now, I can't swallow food. She put a denture above due to her "discovery" that the implants she put in would not hold the upper arch. This is crazy-making. She put the implants in the wrong places, so the lower arch teeth do not meet to chew with the uppers. She tells me I must live with this condition for 3 or 4 months. They additionally gave me no instruction on how to clean the fixed lower. I believe she/they knew from the outset they could not do the promised job; simply saw an opportunity to make a lot of money, and jumped on it with all four. I would advise against trusting these people.

I had an extraction done. By the next day, my neck and face was so bruised and swollen the the vision in my right eye was effected. Went back to start implant procedure. I sat in the chair for 45 minutes hooked up to a BP cuff and cannula. A tech FINALLY came in and said we can't do the procedure today. You need to be off your blood thinner. Never saw Dr Sharp. Turns out, I should have been off of it when I had the extraction. Obviously, she never checked my meds or chart. If you need an implant or other dental work, consider another practice.

She sewed my cheek to my gum doing an implant, and did not take responsiblity for it, so I had to re-do the implant with someone else (after an oral surgeon repaired her mistake). The new periodontist actually thought I had that implant done in Mexico.

In the process of doing an implant, she sutured the inside of my cheek (buccal tissue) to my gum (gingiva). It was extremely painful as I would bite onto my cheek tissue everytime I occluded (closed) my teeth. I understand that people make mistakes however when I asked her to fix it she denied anything was wrong, so I had to get an oral surgeon to separate the buccal tissue from my gingiva. I will be completing my implant process elsewhere because my trust in her care has been breached. If I could upload a photo I would because I realize it is hard to believe. I myself am a physician and if I make a mistake, I apologize to my patients and fix it. I don't pretend it didn't happen.
