Biography
Dr. Newton has over 25 years of experience as a physician, and is a fully qualified and trained Australian general practitioner. He has practiced in many different areas, including 5 years in rural Tasmania, and 2 years as a visiting doctor to a mine site in the Pilbara. He enjoys providing a very comprehensive medical service across all areas of primary medical care, and is particularly interested in providing circumcision and vasectomy services. Doctor Newton has served as a civilian medical officer for the Australian Navy and also has military service experience as a Surgeon Lieutenant in the Royal Navy, where he also trained in underwater and survival medicine. He was awarded a NATO service medal. Doctor Newton has also completed further Professional Development in Laser and Cosmetic Medicine, Skin Cancer Management, Sports Medicine and Internal Medicine, as well as comprehensive and focused training in Pollock Technique circumcision and no-needle, no-scalpel vasectomy. His diverse medical experience also includes work as an emergency room physician in several Australian hospitals.
