He wasted 25 years of my life. He should have referred me elsewhere when his "methods" failed spectacularly.

I've been seeing Dr Kerr for awhile and always found him both helpful and professional. He never discusses his personal life and is very knowledgeable about medications. I wouldn't be alive without his care. He is empathetic generally but considering his type of work it's understandable. How can you be on eight hours a day. Is empathic when it counts.

Found the previous review rather puzzling, I have been seeing Dr Ray Kerr for some time. He does not talk about his trips, holidays etc, does not cough into his sleeve He does listen, his eye contact is good , empathy sometimes is a bit off, but he is a great Dr and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him

This man has been around for so long I am surprised he never got reviewed! I went to him based on a positive comment in another forum but did not feel happy with him at all. He is very old with a bushy white beard which probably makes him look older than he actually is...
I found he had an aloof manner and didn't really show empathy. He had poor eye contact which meant that he actually didn't care about me, otherwise he would have been constantly scanning my face to assess the impact his questions were having on me.
He only showed enjoyment in his face when he was talking about the time he is planning to take off. He also rang up pathologists during the consult to request blood test results from other doctors to be sent (which he could have got his secretary to do at a later time) and also spent a fair bit of time googling things which weren't of concern to me.
I just got the feeling that he was at work but didn't really want to be doing any... Instead of coughing into a tissue or hanky he constantly coughed into his shirt arm.
Based on my experience I would not recommend him.
