Biography

Dr. Ingui graduated from the Pennsylvania State University in 2007 with Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in biomechanics, exercise physiology, sport psychology, and pedagogy. After completing his undergraduate work, he took a job working for a major health insurance carrier in their national account sales division. Part of his job duties involved reviewing claims data for larger companies and was astounded to see the amount of money being spent on conditions that could be managed in a more conservative manner. He has always been an advocate for wellness management and preventative healthcare. Wanting to further his knowledge of healthcare and his passion to help others, he decided to pursue a career in chiropractic. Dr. Ingui graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic in 2014. During his studies, he completed many clinical rotations and internships to gain as much knowledge as he could about diagnosis and treatment strategies for a variety of conditions. He was one of the first chiropractic students in the country to complete a rotation in the Neuroradiology department at the Stony Brook University Medical Center. Dr. Ingui studied under the most notable radiologists in the world learning MRI interpretation and management of many spinal conditions. Dr. Ingui also completed a 10 week rotation at the United States Dept. of Veterans Affairs hospital outside of Hartford, CT. During his time at the VA, he worked with United States military veterans and active duty soldiers and learned how to manage more complex conditions. His other rotations included working at he University of Bridgeport Health Sciences center, where he worked with the general public and the universities NCAA athletes, and also within the Optimus Healthcare System caring for the under-served populations in Bridgeport CT. Dr. Ingui has returned to the University of Bridgeport where he is now an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Clinical Sciences. Some of Dr. Ingui's hobbies include yoga, cycling, boating, and cooking. He enjoys reading the latest research on new therapies and techniques so he can continue to deliver the highest quality of care possible to his patients.
