Dr. Wynes performed extensive corrective surgery on my right foot in October and I had my last follow-up visit today. The surgery closed a diabetic ulcer which had been "Open" for more than 5 years. Professional and in my opinion performs at the "Top of his Profession". He educated me on the surgical procedure, what to expect during recovery, the long term surgical outcome and he answered all of my questions before and after surgery. A very experienced and focused surgeon who finds time to connect on a personal level. Thank you Dr. Wynes!

He was recommended to me by my Podiatrist to deal with the rebuilding of my left foot and ankle. He has performed two surgeries on my foot and I can not thank him enough. He is very compassionate and great with his patients.

If you have foot issues ( I gotta a guy). Dr. Wynes is incredibly talented. It is amazing what he does to save and restore feet. Dr. Wynes is very thorough I am absolutely in aww of his incredibly talented mind. Always thinking outside the box to give his patients a better quality of life. I was told by a very prominent dr in Baltimore who said there was only a 5% chance to save my foot, they wanted to amputate it from mid calf. Not Dr. Wynes he had a vision. Thank you Dr. Wynes for all you do your professionalism is unmatched Sandra Schneitzinger

One more comment. Dr. Wynes (not to be confused as Dr. Waynes by a previous commenter) was just comining off his own medical experience when he did my operation. Not feeling his best, but he posted for me . I'm guessing this is why his staff canceled on the negative poster. Maybe not good on the comunication.

I have now had two surgical experiences with Dr. Wynes. Last June, he basically rebuilt my right foot. The surgery was scheduled to take 3 1/2 hours. My size 14 foot needed more. He plowed on for another 3 hours instead of making it a two part surgery. Two weeks ago, I had a less intensive surgery on my other foot. Still non-weight bearing for six week. During this time, I am relying on the previously reconstructed foot to get around on my 6'5" 280 lb body. The man is a whirling dervish (as noted by others...in high demand), but always responsive to clarification needs, and he suffers my old dude sense of humor, and allows me to humble him. Don't let this go to your head, Doc! :) Looking forward to wearing two regular shoes for the first time in three+ years.

And the admin., nursing, and x-ray staff have been very personable.

I personally didn’t have a good experience with Dr. Waynes. To me, he is completely unreliable. I have a complicated case in my right foot, including a fracture and injure that didn’t heal properly. My podiatrist referred me to Dr. Waynes as I need surgery. I scheduled an appointment, but the morning I was driving to his office, I received a call from his staff to cancel. Appointment was rescheduled 2 weeks later, and once again, they called me the same morning to cancel. I am experiencing a lot of pain; I don’t think is ok to have a human suffering this way and waiting for over a month to see the doctor, without any treatment nor assistance to manage pain. If the doctor is not available, perhaps I could be referred to another doctor?

I went to Dr. Wynes because of a rare and very serious complication from a minor injury. Before Dr. Wynes I was seen at 2 well regarded institutions. The first did not do the sort of surgery needed and the second painted a dim picture of my chances for a good outcome. Within moments of meeting Dr. Wynes he was detailing how he could reconstruct my ankle. He was gentle confident, upbeat, and decisive. It inspired immediate confidence. Two major surgeries were required. Dr. Wynes and his team did extraordinary work. Six months later I was shoveling my own driveway. I'm now about a year out from surgery and Dr. Wynes continues to be available and responsive. I never thought I would be able to return to this level of activity and I'm thankful everyday for the work he did.
