My husband and I were very fortunate to be under the care of Dr. Levens and his outstanding team for nearly four years. He always seemed to know when to be aggressive, when to wait and see, and when to have a backup plan to work around challenges like my husband's deployment. We trusted him implicitly while also feeling like we could ask questions or have a say in the process if we desired. We also appreciated that we always knew what the next step in our treatment plan was. Dr. Levens' willingness to discuss what-ifs and to speak honestly about when treatment no longer made sense was probably the single biggest factor in keeping our stress in check throughout the process.

Dr. Levens was always quick to reach out when something went awry or to be available when I needed to talk through my many questions. His nursing team is exceptionally responsive and knowledgable, but he would also give us a call anytime something unexpected happened, including once just to check in on a Saturday after a disappointing retrieval. I'm sure that he is like this with all of his patients, but we felt like he really wanted us to be successful and made sure we knew he was there for us.

Finally, the Fairfax office and Shady Grove in general is a large operation, but everyone we have encountered has been so friendly and took the time to get to know us. It seems like the size of the practice made it easier to get in and out before work and to be able to schedule appointments. Our nurse from our first few cycles, Grace, is easily one of our favorite people ever! She was compassionate during hardships and celebrated with us each time we were able to graduate with a viable pregnancy. You truly couldn't pick a better doctor, practice, or group of people to help you navigate infertility!

My husband and I cannot recommend Dr. Levens enough. He is patient, empathetic, and his staff at Shady Grove is very responsive and highly efficient. Dr. Levens helped us separate facts from emotions and led us through this difficult journey with optimism, kindness, and a wealth of information. We conceived in December of 2018 and welcomed our healthy baby boy in September '19. Now, as we prepare to try for No. 2, this was the first call we made to get us on the right track once again.

Dr. Levens and the staff at Shady Grove Fertility were incredibly supportive and professional during our years-long treatment towards parenthood. I am vary happy with Shadygrove they return my calls right away when I have a question .they closely listen and understand every step of the time .Specially I am so thankful my nurse coordinator Chris Lewis .she is a great person she was helping me every stap of my treatment so great full .she makes Shady grove the best of the best,simply she is amazing person .

I'm currently almost 11 weeks pregnant. I have to thank Dr. Levens and his nurse Mary for making this journey easier on my husband and I. After having some issues with egg quality he changed my protocol and finally got our gummy bear! I'm beyond thankful for his compassion and care during our cycles. The whole team at SGF in Fairfax have been amazing!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Levens and his nurse Danielle. Dr Levens took a ton of time me going over all my options and answering all my questions. I never felt like I was being rushed or that my concerns weren't being taken seriously. Danielle answered every single one of my crazy neurotic emails, and always made me feel reassured and calm. I had success in my second cycle with Dr Levens and I cant express my gratitude enough!

From the first time we walked in to meet with Dr. Levens we felt at ease. He listened to our concerns and our loss history and reassured us that we had a very high chance of a healthy pregnancy. Dr. Levens talked through our option with us and never pushed us one way or another. He called me after hours many times to check on me and follow up.

I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby after our first frozen IVF cycle. We are so thankful for Dr. Levens and all of the staff at Shady Grove.

If you're reading this, you've likely had many failures in trying to start a family. You probably have a whole mix of feelings. That was us, too. At our initial consult, Dr. Levens immediately made us feel welcomed and that we mattered; we didn't get that feeling at any other fertility clinic. He didn't promise us that we would have a baby, which I understand some clinics sometimes do. He simply said that he would try his hardest. Our son is due this October because of SGF and Dr. Eric Levens.
